66Do You Know Wahoo McDaniel
Wahoo McDaniel had quite a Pro Football Career
Yes he did indeed. Do you know that as a linebacker he played for the Jets, San Diego, Houston, Denver, and Miami. In College at Oklahoma he punted a ball 91 yards which is still a record that stands to this day at Oklahoma.
The Chief was the NWA World Heavyweight Champion several times and he put on a show that left his fans wanting more. His feuds with Greg the Hammer Valentine are the things that legends are made of. They had some of the best wrestling matches to ever take place.
It really is to bad that the WWE doesn't have people like Wahoo McDaniels today. And then maybe we would have wrestling and not entertainment as Mr Mcmahon likes to call it.
The Golden Days Of Professional Wrestling
People can say what you want about professional wrestling and yes we know its fake but to those who love it we just can't get enough. The WWE product of today is not the same product of the old NWA or WCW days. Those were the golden days of wrestling.I don't understand why Vincent Kennedy Mcmahon has let the WWE become the inferior product it has become. I don't care for entertainment Mr Mcmahon, just bring back wrestling.
TNA has a much better product than the WWE but it is not as widely available as the WWE. If TNA was available on a national cable channel at a same or simular time to the WWE it would destroy the WWE. WCW could have put the WWE away if the then owner Ted Turner had ordered a NWO Wolf Pack push. CLICK HERE to read our Hub on the Wolf Pack.
I remember my Uncle Johnny would just simply go wild setting on the couch watching the wrestling on Saturday mornings back in the days of Johhny Weaver, Wahoo McDaniel and Greg the Hammer Valentine. My Uncle would beat the couch and scream and yell at the TV like he could change the action on the TV. Those were the days when Professional Wrestling had you believing that some one was going to get killed in the next few minutes. And you had a quality wrestler that you could cheer for every week. Did you ever see the Junk Yard Dog. Or Michael Hayes. Those were truly the golden days of professional wrestling.
Below are three wrestling videos from the golden days of professional wrestling. With some of the wrestlers from those golden days of professional wrestling.
