Patricia Anne Stratigias is a Canadian retired professional wrestler who performed as a wrestler for first the WWF and then for the WWE after the name change. She was born on December 18th 1975. She is more commonly known as Trish Stratus.
She was a three time WWE Babe of the year and even won the WWE Hardcore Championship from Crash Holly at one time. She was also proclaimed Diva of the Decade.
She retired after only seven years in the WWE but it is believed she may have suffered a real lifelong back injury. This may have led to her decision to retire from wrestling.

Trish Stratus made her professional wrestling debut on March 19th , 2000, during an episode of Sunday Night Heat which was a WWE TV Show at that time. Also at that time the WWE was known as the WWF. The organization later changed their name to settle a lawsuit over their WWF name and a problem with the World Wildlife Fund.
Trish made her debut on the WWE at the Sunday Night Heat event to scout wrestlers Prince Albert and Test. The very next night on Monday night Raw Trish put in an appearance as the manager of Test and Prince Albert who were wrestling as the tag team T&A.

Her real last name is Stratigias. She is of Greek and Polish decent and she was born to John and Alice Stratigias. She has two sisters named Christie and Melissa. She got married on September 30th, 2006 to her high school sweetheart and boyfriend of fourteen years. His name is Ron Fisico.
Guests at her wedding included almost all of the WWE Diva's including her friend Lita and Molly Holly. Her wedding gown was featured on the cover of Today's Bride Magazine. At the 2013 WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Stratus announced to the world that she and her husband Ron are expecting a baby due to be born in September of 2013.
Stratus continues to be close friends with Stephanie McMahon and Amy Dumas also known as Lita.

Stratus continues to be involved in various charities and recently she has done work for Ronald Mcdonald House, Dreams Take Flight and Special Olympics.
Stratus says she misses people in the WWE and the fans but she says that chapter in her life is closed. She said that being a female wrestler and the womens champion is the best thing that ever happened to her but that she has no plans or no desires to return to wrestling. She says she hopes to have several children and raise a family. She says that someday she will set down with her children and tell them all about Trish Stratus and who she was. At the same time that Trish Stratus was managing T&A she also briefly managed Val Venus who she helped to win the Intercontinental Title. He held the title briefly before he lost it at Summer Slam and their partnership broke up when he lost the title.
Trish Stratus took her first bumps in the ring as a performer when she was attacked and driven thru a table at Backlash by the Dudley Boys. Stratus had been taunting and making fun of Buba Ray Dudley for weeks. At Backlash Bubba Ray got his revenge slamming Trish Stratus completely thru a table.
Her first wrestling match was a mixed gender match when she teamed with T&A against the Hardy Boyz and Lita. After that match Stratus and Lita had an ongoing feud with Stratus appearing out of nowhere and attacking Lita several times over the next few weeks. They finally fought in an indian strap match with Trish Stratus winning but she did receive help from Stephanie McMahon. But she had still not won a championship.
Stratus finished out 2000 competing several times for the womens championship belt but she just couldn't win it. In the fall of 2001 Trish Stratus was to win the WWF Womens Championship for the first time at the fall 2001 Survivor Series. She held the title briefly and then lost it.
In 2001 she competed in a triple threat match in her hometown of Toronto along with Jazz and Lita but she could not win the belt. But she kept trying. As hard as it may be to believe she won the mens Hardcore Championship from Crash Holly after Bubba Ray Dudley hit Crash Holly over the head with a trash can lid. But she lost the Hardcore Championship shortly afterwards to Steven Richards.
And then one week later she won the womens championship again with the help of Bubba Ray Dudley. At this time Stratus was wrestling only on the Raw Brand of the then WWF.
Molly Holly defeated Trish Stratus next for the womens championship belt and they went on to have a ongoing three month feud. Stratus was also involved in a feud with new WWF diva Victoria at this time and she lost the WWF womens championship which she had won again to Victoria in a hardcore match.

It was at WrestleMania XIX that Trish Stratus was able to defeat Victoria and then Jazz to win the WWF womens title for the fourth time.
How Much Did Lita Help Trish Stratus
Many people give Lita the credit for making Trish Stratus into the success she became. Lita spent hours every day for weeks training Trish Stratus and teaching her wrestling moves. Some people say that Lita was quite possibly the greatest woman wrestler of all time. When Trish Stratus decided to retire from the WWE she gave Lita the credit for helping her to become a great womens wrestler. She said that with out the help from Lita that she might have even quit and given up on becoming a woman wrestler in the WWE.
The Last Match Of Trish Stratus
On September 11th, 2006 Trish Stratus fought her last match on Raw against Mickie James. It was in late August 2006 that Lita said that Stratus would retire after the Unforgiven match later that year and Stratus later confirmed that yes she did plan to retire.
At the September 17th , 2006 Unforgiven match Stratus defeated Lita using fellow Canadian Brett Hart's signature move the sharpshooter and then she retired as the WWE Womens Champion. She has appeared a few times over the years including a 2012 backstage skit with D-Generation X.

It was on the january 28th, 2013 episode of Raw that it was announced that Trish Stratus was going to be a WWE Hall of Fame Inductee. Stratus became the youngest ever Hall of Fame inductee at age 37. During her speech at the Hall of Fame induction Stratus thanked many of the other wrestling Divas and said a special thanks has to go out to her best friend Amy Dumas ( aka Lita ). She said that her success as a wrestling diva was thanks to Lita. Stratus also announced at the Hall of Fame Induction that she and her husband were expecting a baby soon.
Stephanie McMahon was chosen by Trish Stratus to induct her into the WWE Hall of Fame. Later that night Jerry the King Lawler with tears in his eyes said that Trish Stratus was the greatest WWE Diva ever.
Wrestling fans are always hoping for a return of Trish Stratus to the WWE but Stratus says that other than making a token appearance that a return to the WWE is never going to happen. She is due to have a baby in September of 2013 and she says that raising a family is her number one concern right now.
