The Night The Ghost Got In , A True Ghost Story
In 2001 I was living in Newberry South Carolina with my girlfriend in a garage apartment on Boundary Street just up the street from the old Boundary Street Cemetery. Before 2001 I had believed in ghosts and paranormal activity but in 2001 in Newberry South Carolina I and my girlfriend would have paranormal experiences that we will never forget.And below in our true ghost story we are going to share our tales of paranormal activity with you. So please read this true ghost story and post a comment below.
Late in August of that year we came to call one particular night , " The Night The Ghost Got In ". Because that night in particular we were to come to know that ghosts not only exist but some of them are very territorial and they may even attack. Because you see the garage apartment where we lived was very haunted and was a hot bed of paranormal activity. Before the night in question we had saw and heard all kind of things. The bedroom of the apartment had windows all the way around it and we would lay there at night and watch orbs of light come in one bedroom window and dance around the bedroom and then go out a different window.
Doors in the apartment would open and close on their own and lights would go off and on completely by themselves. We would be laying in bed and items in the room would be thrown across the room quite often barely missing us. Often we would be laying there in bed and something would jerk the cover we were covered with completely off of us and off the bed and throw it over in the corner.One night I woke up to see our cat thrown across the room and onto our bed from the darker part of the bedroom. The cat got out of the apartment the next morning and it would not come back into the apartment.

When there would be a thunderstorm that summer we would often see ghosts dancing on the church roof across the street from our apartment. These clearly dead people would dance in the air and run and jump off the roof into the air and vanish. You don't have to see something like that but one time for it to be a permanent part of your memory.
By August of 2001 the paranormal activity in and around our apartment had increased to the point to where we had abandoned sleeping in the bedroom and were now sleeping in the living room floor on a air mattress. It was just that bad in the bedroom. So we shut the bedroom and started sleeping in the living room floor.
At this time the ghost in the apartment went to a whole new level and one night while my girlfriend was taking a shower the ghost waited until she was washing her hair and had soap in her eyes and he washed her back. I heard her telling someone how good it felt and I walked closer to the bathroom door and listened. She thought that it was me washing her back but when I jerked open the door she realized that the ghost had been the one washing her back.
My girlfriend was at first scared at what had happened but then she got really scared that a ghost could wash her back and she could think it was me. At one point that evening she told the ghost he better leave her along. Later that evening when she went to the bathroom the ghost attacked her in the short hall that led to the bathroom. The ghost shoved her backwards so strongly that he left two large hand prints on her upper chest area.Almost a hour later after we had left the apartment you could still see the hand prints the ghost left on her.
She said it felt so real when it was happening that she thought someone was in the dark apartment with us. But of course there was no one living and breathing in the apartment but me and her. And at the same time the ghost was shoving her backwards back towards the living room where I was we heard loud banging in the bedroom like someone was in there tearing it apart. I rushed past her and for five to six minutes could not get the bedroom door open. Nothing was moved or out of place when I finally got into the bedroom but it felt so cold , so unnaturally cold in there and you could actually see your breathe in the bedroom.
We packed a few clothes and left the apartment that night. We just could not stay there after the ghost had attacked my girlfriend. I didn't want to remain there any longer and my girlfriend just flat out refused. A few days later we went back and removed our belongings from the apartment. And that is the story of , " The Night The Ghost Got In " .
Now while we don't have a video like Paranormal Activity or Paranormal Activity 2 these events happened. Something tossed our cat across the bedroom onto the bed with us. And then on that one particular night the ghost washed my girlfriends back and later attacked her. There was something in that apartment that would make the air stand up on the back of your neck. I truly believe a ghost attacked my girlfriend and washed her back.
Update February 24, 2012
I have since found out that the Boundary Street Elementary School is built on top of part of the graveyard that is there on Boundary Street in Newberry South Carolina. In 2011 they cleaned the remaining part f the graveyard up some and cut the grass but it is still one of the spookiest graveyards I have ever visited. In further investigations I have found many more people who claim that the school there is haunted. Shadow people and ghosts are said to walk through class rooms while school is going on.
There are many other tales of paranormal activity all over Newberry South Carolina. The apartment we used to live in is still there but the people living there now would not talk to us about anything paranormal going on there. However I'm sure that the paranormal activity there would not have just stopped. To me the paranormal experiences we had there were some of the spookiest paranormal experiences that I have ever had. I would like to be able to go back to the apartment there with the equipment I now have but I doubt if that will ever happen. I know for a fact what happened there during the summer of 2001 and it was simply amazing. As I find out more information I will be back and update this page. Thanks for reading.

Hey man, finished reading you story sent the chill's down my spine and the hair on the back of my neck stand up, good stuff.The thing I don't get though, why the hell you stayed in that apartment after the slightest indication of it being haunted.Also a shame you have no pics., vid's., or e.v.p's.IF TRUE, scary ass shit brother.
I have had my own experiences over the years. Recently though I have been touched twice. I do not like it at all. I am wondering why now am I being touched? When I said to stop the pressure on the back of my neck was intense! Whoever it is likes to touch my face... It is always when I am alone in the den..

I have had such experience when I was 15-16. It happened in my home town Ashkhabad, Turkmenistan. I was at home alone for the whole month since my parents and brother took a trip to the Black Sea and I did not want to go with them. So I was alone with my three dogs and at night I put my German Shepherd and a small Maltese dog outside in the yard because that couple made a perfect protection from intruders and my Spaniel dog inside the house by my bed. Besides, all windows were barred with metal bars and had net screens against flies. It was not that late, just about 10 pm. I was in my bed and the light was off but the room still was lit with light coming from the neighbors’ yard where they were sitting at the table just about 6-7 meters from me. I got asleep and my dog fall asleep too. All of a sudden, we both woke up and I saw a man standing in the doorway behind a very transparent curtains looking at me. What weird, he was in the old-fashioned hat and a rain-coat. My dog went crazy, he tried to attack the man, was roaring and barking and the hair on his back was sticking up. I could just mumble “ma…” and fainted away (the first and the last time for my life). I think I was unconscious for only a half of minute, may be even less than that, but when I opened eyes, the man was gone. I darted to the switcher and turned on the lights. The dog was all pumped up, roaring and running from room to room trying to find the man who just was over there and disappeared. I went to the outside door – the German Shepherd is sleeping on the porch with his back to the screen door and Maltese dog by his side, everything is quiet like nothing happened. There was no way someone could pass those dogs and enter the house and like I said, all windows were barred. Since that night, I was sleeping in the yard until my parents got home.

I have a entity in my house now. In fact two that I know of but not the ones that were in Newberry SC. There was something evil about the spirits in Newberry. I have the spirits of a old man and a old woman in my house now.
Hi Crazyhorseghost, Thank you for sharing your experiences, not an easy thing to do. I am a 'ghost buster' from way back, and have made it a part of my life to move them on. I have communicated with 'Earthbound energies' as I call them since I was a small child, and have only had a couple of personal expericnces of them being violent, one tried to push a colleague and I down a flight of stairs at Daylesford in Australia. I have seen things all my life. As have other members of my family and a very close friend of mine. There are just some people who can see ghosts and some people who can not.

Great story. My brother and I do some amature ghost hunting. I'm still a bit of a skeptic, but I have had some strange happenings I can't explain. I'm hoping to get started writing about them soon.
We once had been on a pilgrimage (11 of us) in an SUV. it was 3 a.m and we stopped the car because the engine was way too heated. Myself and my cousins went to pee while my other family members were normally talking. Soddenly someone threw a stone on our car and the front window broke into pieces.
From no where, stray dogs gathered around our car and began howling. We were frightened and left the place. After travelling a few miles ahead we found a few villagers passing by. We stopped to tell them the incident and all they said was "A mad lady used to live there and 6 months ago she committed suicide. Since then we have been coming across such strange activities too".
Wow! That was hair raising! My brother lived in a house that was said to be haunted by Mary Minster Miles. (hope spelling is correct). He had very similar experiences as you describe. When I visited him in Hollywood, CA, he put me in this room he called the Victorian. I had a dream that the lady-Mary was standing on the balcony-that was the window to the room. Later on that next day, my brother said that is why he put me in there--so I would meet her. It was originally her favorite room in the house. I didn't learn about her until he told me that day--so the visit dream was pretty wild. TY for being here and writing about you and your girlfriends expeience. You write well.
