RIM Blackberry Tour 9630 Review

The RIM Blackberry Tour 9630 offers world wide roaming capabilities. It also offers G.P.S. , Bluetooth , and a 3.2 Megapixel Camera. The Smart Phone has a very easy to use Qwerty keyboard and it is fairly compact in size. The phone weighs in at 4.3 ounces and while the phone does have a lot of bells and whistles it lacks Wi-Fi and the web browser is slow. The camera also has a bit of lag time. But overall its a wonderful phone for business users and with the Qwerty Key Board you can quickly send and receive text messages.

I really like the trackball navigator. I also like that the talk and end buttons are below the display and there is a all important back button. The user interface is easy to navigate and very straightforward. Don't miss the fact that you can customize the homepage with background images and themes.

One of my favorite features is the 35 key Qwerty Keyboard. With the Qwerty Keyboard I can very easily send text messages which is something I could not do with ease before with other phones. So for me the 35 key Qwerty Keyboard is a big plus.

You will find lock and mute keys on top of the device. There's also a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a great micro USB port. The camera and the flash are both located on the back of the phone and the camera does unfortunately have some lag time.

Other features include a speaker phone , conference calling , voice activated calling , speed dial , text , and multimedia messaging. The sad thing is that this smart phone does not have integrated Wi-Fi. The phone does come with Blue Tooth and their is support for wireless headsets , stereo headsets and hands free use.

G.P.S. is also on board so you can find out exactly where you are in the world or find that special restaurant or other location.

Most important of all the phone supports the recently launched Blackberry App World and if you have not yet checked it out you should. Another drawback is that you can't download apps to the microSD card so you have to save them to the phones main memory and it should have been much larger than its currently offered 256 MB size.

Over all I have to say the RIM Blackberry Tour 9630 is the perfect phone for business. The phones web browser is not the best in the world and could do with some improvements but again over all the RIM Blackberry Tour 9630 is a great phone that you really should enjoy.
