Do You Know How To Cook The Perfect Pork Chop

I see a lot of people cooking the little boneless breakfast pork chops and they don't know it but you'll never get the full flavor of pork chops that you'll get in big delicious bone in pork chops like those in the photo above.

Bone in pork chops will just have so much more flavor than a pork chop with no bone. The little boneless pork chop is delicious for breakfast but if your looking for the full bold flavor of pork then you need a big pork chop with the bone in it. You'll never get the flavor from a little thin boneless pork chop that you will from a big delicious bone in pork chop.

Pan Fried Delicious Bone In Pork Chops.

In case you're wondering the ones above in the photo were sprinkled with black pepper and ground sea salt on each side and then they were put in a large skillet that butter had been added to. After they got started cooking they were sprinkled with fresh minced garlic on each side. They were cooked slow with a glass see through lid on the pan so they would steam and cook at the same time. When the pork chops had pulled back from the bone like in the photo above their internal temperature was checked with a meat thermometer and when the pork chops reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees both sides of the pork chops were splashed with soy sauce.

You want to cook them for just a minute or two uncovered after you splash them with the soy sauce so you'll get the full flavor of the soy sauce on your pork chops. With the butter, soy sauce, garlic, and salt and pepper you'll have one of the best flavored pork chops you'll ever eat. If you cook them just as I've told you the pork chops will have a flavor you'll never forget. The plate in the photo above was sprinkled with fresh dried parsley as a garnish.

We cooked thin sliced button mushrooms in a skillet with fresh minced garlic, butter, a splash of white wine and a teaspoon of soy sauce and we allowed the mushrooms to cook slowly until they were done and then we served a cooks spoon of these mushrooms on top of each big bone in pork chop.

The green beans are cooked with thin strips of red bell pepper in a steamer with ground sea salt, black pepper and just a few fresh leaves of fresh rosemary. Green beans cooked this way are some of the best green beans you will ever eat. And when you cook them this way you get all the nutrients out of the beans and they are really healthy for you.

I usually serve garlic bread with this meal and if you've never had one you should make a green tomato apple pie and serve each guest a slice of this wonderful pie to finish their meal. If you'll click that link you'll find the recipe for this delicious pie. Or you can make homemade garlic cheese biscuits. If you click that link you'll find the recipe.

Almost anyone should be able to make this delicious meal. You need a large heavy duty skillet with a lid. And you need to start your pork chops off slowly. It's really important that these pork chops be cooked slow. I suggest strongly using ground sea salt as it has so much more flavor than regular table salt. If you don't have a steamer you should get one. Vegetables and fish cooked in steamers is so much more delicious than if it was cooked any other way. In a steamer you can add fresh herbs to the water to flavor your vegetables or fish.

Here once again we are going to be using bone in pork chops because they have a much better flavor. If you want these pork chops to be the most delicious I suggest using center cut bone in pork chops and you'll have some of the most delicious smothered pork chops you'll ever taste.

For Your Smothered Pork Chops You Will Need.

1. Four Thick Bone In Pork Chops.

2. One Half Cup Buttermilk.

3. One Fourth Cup Olive Oil.

4. One Cup Chicken Broth.

5. One Cup All Purpose Plain Flour.

6. Two Tablespoons Dry Onion Powder.

7. Two Tablespoons Garlic Powder.

8. One Teaspoon Cayenne Powder.

9. One Teaspoon Ground Sea Salt.

10. One Teaspoon Black Pepper.

11. One Cup Whole Milk For The Gravy.

Put all your dry ingredients into one bowl or pan and mix together well.

Dip your pork chops in the buttermilk and then into the dry flour mixture and pat the seasoning into them well. Put the olive oil in a skillet on low heat and then put the pork chops in the pan and cover the pan with its lid.

Cook the pork chops until they are well brown on one side and then flip them over. Cook your pork chops until they are well browned and done. Pork is done when it is 160 degrees on the inside.

Once your pork chops are cooked remove them to a plate with paper towels on it to drain.

Add a couple tablespoons of the seasoned flour to your skillet and use a wire whisk to work it into the grease in the pan and brown the flour. When the flour is brown add in the chicken broth and stir well. As you see the gravy get thicker add in your cup of whole milk and stir it in well. Add the pork chops back to the skillet into the gravy. Turn the heat down to a low simmer.

Pork Chop Casserole

This is a real easy recipe for pork chop casserole that anyone should be able to make. I suggest using center cut bone in pork chops and button mushrooms sliced thin. This casserole is easy to make and the flavors are just simply wonderful.

For Your Pork Chop Casserole You Will Need.

1. Four Large Center Cut Bone In Pork Chops.

2. One Package Lipton's Onion Soup Mix.

3. One Pound Button Mushrooms Sliced Thin.

4. One Large Can Golden Mushroom Soup.

5. One Cup Chicken Broth.

Start off by browning your pork chops on each side in a skillet. Spray a 13"X9" casserole dish and lay your four browned pork chops in the bottom of the casserole dish.

In a bowl mix up the rest of your ingredients well and then pour them in on top of your pork chops.

Now place your casserole dish with the pork chop mixture in the oven and cook at 350 degrees for about 90 minutes or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 160 degrees. Just be sure that you don't overcook your pork chops. This is truly one of the easiest and most delicious pork chop casseroles you will ever eat.

I like this pork chop casserole served over rice and I serve steamed Brussels Sprouts, hot buttered rice and Homemade Coconut Cake with them for one of the most delicious meals you'll ever eat.
