Peanut Butter And Jelly Pancakes
Peanut Butter And Jelly Pancakes Recipe
Peanut Butter And Jelly Pancakes are oh so wonderful.
Here is one of the most unique unusual recipes you will ever make and these pancakes are some of the best things you will ever taste in your life. And they are so easy to make.
For your recipe you will need.
1. 2 Cups Self Rising Flour.
2. 1 Cup Self Rising Cornmeal.
3. 1 Cup Sugar.
4. 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Flavoring.
5. 2 Large Eggs.
6. 1 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter.
7. Whole Milk to mix into your batter.
Mix all of the above ingredients very well together in a large bowl. Now gradually add in whole milk and mix well until your batter is thick but not to thick. You should be able to fill a pitcher with your batter and easily pour it out to make pancakes ether on a hot flat top grill if you have one or a frying pan if you don't. You will want to fry your pancakes in margarine.
You will need your grill or frying pan at about 350 degrees for your pancakes to turn out great. Pour out your batter to make saucer size pancakes. Resist the urge to turn your pancakes until you see bubbles pop up on them and they begin to brown around the very edges. Now you want to flip them over and cook on the other side. If you flip your pancakes to often they will be tough. The air in the pancakes is what makes them fluffy. So don't flip them and loose the air in the pancakes.
In your grocery store look for blackberry syrup as this is best on these pancakes. Wal-Mart carries the best Blackberry Pancake Syrup. You can if you wish buy Blackberry Pie Filling also and put a spoonful on top of each stack of pancakes as you serve them. Sometimes I put cool whip on top of the pancakes also especially for holiday breakfast mornings or special days. Children absolutely love these pancakes. As do most adults also. We really like these pancakes served with breakfast sausage links.
