No Boil Lasagna Recipe For Everyone To Enjoy

Your probably wondering just what is no boil lasagna. Well I'm going to let you in on a little secret. It really isn't necessary to boil your lasagna noodles before you make lasagna. All you have to do is wrap the top of your lasagna dish or pan tightly with aluminum foil before you bake your lasagna. When it gets done the noodles will be done and won't fall apart like when you boil the noodles.

This recipe for lasagna is so yummy and delicious. I use eight ounces of ground round and eight ounces of sweet Italian Sausage to make one pound of meat in this lasagna. I have a kitchen scale that I use to weigh up my meat.If your going to be doing a lot of cooking you should invest in a good kitchen scale.

Lasagna has always been one of my favorite foods. I like to serve it with a fresh garden salad and freshly baked garlic bread.

For Your Lasagna You Will Need.

1. Eight Ounces Of Ground Round.

2. Eight Ounces Of Bulk Sweet Italian Sausage.

3. One One Pound Carton Fresh Button Mushrooms Sliced.

4. One Medium Sweet Onion Diced Very Fine.

5. One Tablespoon Fresh Minced Garlic.

6. Two Tablespoons Olive Oil.

7. Two Fourteen Ounce Cans Tomato Sauce.

8. One Teaspoon Dried Ground Oregano.

9. One Teaspoon Dried Ground Basil.

10. One Cup Ricotta Cheese.

11. Three Cups Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese.

12. Two Large Eggs Beaten.

13. One Teaspoon Ground Sea Salt.

14. One Teaspoon Black Pepper.

15. Three Cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese.

16. Twelve Lasagna Noodles.

Start off by sauteing your mushrooms, onion, and garlic in a large sauté pan until your vegetables are almost done. Now add your ground round and your sweet Italian Sausage to the sauté pan and cook until the meats are brown. Now pour the contents of the sauté pan to a large stock pot and now you are ready to add your tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt and pepper to the stock pot.Bring almost to a boil and then reduce to the lowest possible simmer.

Now in a large bowl combine your beaten eggs, ricotta cheese, salt, pepper, and the Parmesan cheese and mix well together.

Now you will want to spray your lasagna pan with vegetable cooking spray. Now put your sauce out of the saucepan in the bottom of the lasagna pan and then a layer of noodles. You will want to build your lasagna a layer at a time with some of all your ingredients in each layer of the lasagna.

You want to end up with four lasagna noodles and a thin layer of sauce on top. You then want to top this with shredded mozzarella cheese. It really doesn't matter what particular order you put your ingredients into the lasagna pan. It is important that you finish with four lasagna noodles, sauce, and mozzarella cheese on top of your lasagna. You can if you wish do as I did in the photo above and include fresh chopped spinach in the layers of your lasagna but it isn't necessary.

You will want to cover and wrap your pan of lasagna tightly with the aluminum foil. You don't want any juices or steam to be able to get out. You will now want to pre heat your oven to 375 degrees and wait for it to heat up before you add your pan of lasagna to the oven. Bake for 45 minutes and then uncover and bake until the cheese starts to get brown. This should take 12 - 15 minutes. Watch your lasagna to be sure it does not burn.

Once you take your lasagna out of the oven let the lasagna set at room temperature for about 15 minutes before you cut your lasagna out into servings. Then you can serve and eat the best lasagna you will ever eat.
