i don't think my house is haunted, i think I am haunted. i am 26 and since i was at least 6 very strange things have happened to me. something is happening to me right now while i'm writing this ,i'll explain in a minute, i am trying to figure out why this happens to me finally. first off i have always had nightmares and dream things before they take place. i scare my husband in the middle of the night when i wake from these dreams. i mean like i dream of dead people, demons talking to me, etc. and i have actually heard whispers when no one is around me, and no i don't have a mental condition or medical issue. sometimes at various locations i feel suddenly uneasy, and have strange sudden thoughts of people i don't know, or have that "something bad happened here" feeling. i feel like i can feel bad energy or vibes at times. or sense a person i've just met is bad. sometimes i just sense a presence. in the past two years i have experienced things in my house moving, when no one else is in the house. two years ago, my picture of the virgin mary flew off the wall while i was in the shower, i heard a noise,jumped out checked the baby, she was sound asleep, cont'd shower,when i got out i found my large framed picture of the virgin mary across my bedroom, face down, with one of my shoes on top of it and a pillow on top of that, and that whole week bad things happened to me. so many strange experiences i can't write them all in this comment. so the latest thing, two weeks ago my dad died in a tractor accident (it rolled he fell off and a tractor tire came off and crushed his head) i had nightmares a solid week before it happened, not of what actually happened but just nightmares, and the day before it happened i told my husband about my dreams all week, and i said you know i've never lost someone close to me, i don't know what i would do. my dad's face popped up in my head after i made that statement. next day mom was at my house n we found out over the phone together immediately after his accident he was dead. few nights later i was alone in their house, and heard a noise, i went to the back room where the noise came from and found his hunting gun and vest had fallen over. so i'm asking myself why did that just fall over by itself for no reason. tonight, in my house, daughter n husband asleep, on my couch, back facing the kitcen, suddenly i feel cold air, (i'm in the middle of the room it's no draft, heat didn't kick on and move the air, house is warm), and this super cold air creeps up on me, then i hear one of my cabinets shut. 5 or 6 times now i heard it. and every time i jump and my heart starts to pound. it only happens when my back is turned. when i turn around and look into the kitchen i see nothing. this is not a joke, i am not mentally ill, if someone can explain what's happening to me please tell me, i don't know how hubpages works, try to post a comment here or send me a message.

Hi, It could be real. if you feel next time something is around just try to concentrate and feel where it is, if u have the suspect then try to touch that, if its real you feel in your body, then close your eyes concentrate and try to communicate, sure none will respond immediately but it will speak to you in 15 to 20 min.

Before that try to understand at what time its happening, such events will happen on same time every day or week once.

when you try to communicate dont do it alone.

dont get scared becoz it wont hurt you.

"My suggestion is just try to clear your house or if possible move out from that house"

Gost or spirits don't harm us directly upto my knowledge and experience (only in movies they attack), but they give trouble to us in different way in personal life, if its not the sprit of our family member.

if you feel that its your father then dont worry they dont do anything to you.

I have always experianced different feelings and emotions when I am alone in a home that I feel is haunted. At night when I go to bed I am confrotable and warm, but there have been times when I woke up and felt the strap on my tang top move slowly down my shoulder. And the area becomes very cold as I become more aware .. Then if I turn my face more towards the arm that I feel this cold touch it stops. This isnt the first time have woken up in the middle of a dead sleep to feel someone touching me and know one is there. I do believe in the spiritual world and I will remind you I am Romanin, Indian... This sense I have becomes very strong when I know or feel someone is there. Like right now I am feeling a slight cold breeze coming across my lower right arm and there is not one window open or cracked and I am no where near a vent. What can I do to remove or bless my home without causeing a turf war with this different spirits.

i believe that my house is haunted . because the strangest things happen . Are door bell was ringing by its self one day it would ring then wait a couple seconds then ring again and every time it would do this it would ring the same amount of times in between , its occurred at least 5 times already. Also the radio turns on by its self and usually when it does that it turns on full blast. we have a dog and our dog will sit there and bark consistently at nothing or he will stare at the wall for hours straight like he is seeing something that were not. The temperatures in are house will be strange sometimes when we have are heat all the way up the house will be freezing then out of no where it will get extremely hot. We have witness things fly off dressers and out of cabinets . sometimes things in the kitchen will fall and be all over the floor. At night time when nobody is upstairs it sounds like people are walking around and things are being dropped. There has been different occasions when items will go missing and then appear in the same spot we left them at. some spots in the house will be colder then others. At times when we lock are doors they would unlock by themselves . There is a list of paranormal activities that happen in are house. would u agree that its haunted ?

For some reason, my Air-Conditioner vents that are in the casing are out of the casing, and laying on the carpet right beside the vent opening. Nobody in the house has took the vents out of the floor.

I have ghosts in my home but I have two many experiences to mention here. I am in the process of writing an ebook about ghosts and all of that is in my ebook but you are experiencing ghosts unfortunately some bad and some good ones. There is a saying that I say when I want to get rid of the bad ghosts and that is "Bless this House with the Blood of Jesus Christ." I say this a few times until I see them backing off. It works. My parents live with my husband and me and that's a good thing. Good luck and I hope it works for you.

Well here is the thing i have lived in this house with my parents since i was about 7 im 18 years of age now and me and my siblings have had weird things go on so has my mom well at night it sounds like doors open and shut the fire alarn would allways go off nd by it allways be colder but theres no air vents and weirdest thing is i have belived to have dreams of the lady that passed on as a teen because of car crash and stuff has moved and tvs turn on by there selfs and my dog follows things as if theres something there and will bark and growl and idk how tru it is but when i have people sleep over in living room they hear foot steps and a young lady talkin as if she was there and on 1 acasion my brother said he felt something pull him into our room where she had stayed b4 the accident i was wondering what you think of this

I am sensing things are just not right in my house I smell purfume and fowl smells. I hear someone or something whispering make noise in my room when I sleep. My hubby and I both experinaced something strange we can't explain my hubby got a nasty cut on his finger when he was sleeping and I got bruises on my left leg when sleeping. Last night my hair was touched. I been seeing a black mist in the bedroom in my room in front of my other computer my monitor lights flashes and i see a black shape crawling in front of it when I am I am my bed. Things have been moved around or misplaced but not by us. The water pressure in the shower was low all of a sudden.My cats will not go it certain places in my room. One cat sits by my closet and cries. One cat will not go near the spot next to my fan. He jumped back and ran out of the room. My cat watches really close when he is walking in the living room. My cat will not stay in my room when I go to sleep she looks around the stares at somethings and jumps off the bed as fast as she can run. She is 11 years old. My youngest one will not come into my room at all. My books in my small shelf fell down. I mostly have this in my room and my hubbys room. I am not making this up and don't belive the house is haunted not yet. I lost my keys and they were never seen again i lost them in the house. Does anyone know if this is paranormal or not.

I'm not sure whats going on with me but for the last 2 years since i had my son ive been feeling like something has been following me. Nothing really strange has happened except i get really cold at odd hours of the night. I offen see shadows well im not sure if its shadows but ill see random darkness when im alone strange part is all the lights are on. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my son or myself but it just keeps getting strange i cant sleep at night. I am pregnant now and things have been getting even stranger i hear someone breathing really hard next to me but noones there. I asked the people who live with me but noone seems to have seen or felt anything i have.

Hi

On 4 occasions now I have had a whole box of chocolates completely emptied without any explanation. The first two times the chocolates were in a bowl in my lounge and they were suddenly emptied between when I went to bed and woke up. Then the third time, my lodger was the only one home and she noticed that the bowl was empty.

The fourth time happened last night, when a whole brand new tub of celebrations was completely empty, with the lid off when I woke up. I only bought it on Sunday and about 4 had been eaten.

I have no idea whether to be scared and what on earth is going on! Any ideas or help gratefully received.

Hey! I'm not sure if this is a paranormal event but recently weird things (obviously) have been happening. I have a mirror on my wall in my dining room with two small shelves on each side. Each shelf has a picture on it. On the right is a picture of my son, the left my daughter. I live in an apartment and the stairs leading upstairs is on the other side of the wall. Kids run down them every morning. Well the picture of my son moves every day, or every other day at least. My daughters does not. It tilts to the left like it's facing toward someone standing in front of the mirror. My fiancé asked me every day " who's messing with this picture?" we thought it was weird so I said well let's change the pictures to see if it's because of the heavy traffic on the stairs. Three days later I get the feeling to look because I had forgotten. My sons picture is tilted in the same direction almost falling off the shelf. It's not on the opposite shelf so it was not the location it's the picture. The kids do not touch the frames. A few months ago I was in my bathroom getting ready to go play midnight bingo with my mom and I walk into my bedroom to change clothes and while I'm gone I hear a crash. I come back to find my coffee mug from that morning in the sink with a glass I had just finished drinking out of. They were not close to the edge. Again the same night the following week, it happened at the same time. I left them in there to test it. then another night iwas talking to my cat and I heard a "sshhh!" everyone in the house was sleeping. Other than that things don't move and I don't hear sounds. Although my fiancé did get clawed pretty bad twice by my very relaxed cat outside of the bathroom that my cups fell when he tried to pick him up. My other cat paws at random objects like books and things on the coffee table. But I think she's just mental. We took pictures around the house tonight to see if we could find an orb but didn't. My fiancé has experience with a poltergeist. His mother woke up to hand prints around her neck once and her new house all the way across the country from the old one features weird sounds. I've heard them myself when I spent the night. Middle of the night I'm in the bathroom and someone is pacing, pretty quickly, outside the door. Heavy footed. All bedroom doors were shut and everyone was asleep. I want to know how to make these things leave. They creep me out. Let me know if I'm paranoid or experiencing the paranormal.

i ran into your article while looking for information about black shadows in your home,as a child i lived in a house that had a bad history. Growing up the house and the swinging objects kinda just went along as the family ghost. As a teen i had a child and flat lined during child birth. i had an outer body experience before being brought back life. After that experience i begin to have close family and friends die in violent deaths and sometimes i would dream of the accident before it would happen. I seemed to move into houses with bad histories also it was like i had a few years of bad rental luck. I became ill and spots or well lesions covered my skin. i looked like a monster. In 2000 i was attacked as i left work late at night and i swear that i saw a demon in the dark yes at first he looked like a man but attacking me he looked like a demon. I have dreams about people i dont know and my mate can have the same dream about the same person right next to me.it only happened once but it was weird. So every place i move to ends up to be a bad experience.My best friend just died and i am seeing a black figure that breaks glass and stands in the hall way.How can you help me with my problem.

I believe I was attacked by a ghost! My Boyfriend rented a house for a month. Everyday something happened. Doors would come open after I locked them. The oven would open and close while sitting at dinner, we just both looked and said wow that was weird! Then one night I was home while my boyfriend went out. I wanted to take a nap but never got a chance. I was laying there with a balnket on me then I looked up at the wall where a lamp cast a light on the wall, then all of a sudden it went black and something was forcing my shoulders down pinning me to the floor face down. I couldn't breathe it felt like my heart stopped for a sec. then it screamed a blood curdling scream in my ear. I was so freaked out! I was shaking & crying for 2 hrs at least. I still don't know what to make of it. But it sure scared the hell out of me!

I'm not sure what to make of my (our) experiences. We've lived in our house for 10 years. I've always heard footsteps going up and down the basement as well as the upstairs. I've gotten used to that. My kids have seen shadows in one of the bedrooms. My oldest swears he was held down in that same bedroom. My second son, who is living in our basement hears/sees things all the time. Just day before yesterday I was home alone and in our office (which is located on lower level) has a metal dog kennel. I clearly heard the door to the thing slam. When I went in there the door was opening. As it would if you were to slam a door with no door knob. This frightened me, so I yelled at "whatever" I said, "Listen, I don't care if you're here, but you are scaring me, so KNOCK IT OFF!" Nothing further happened until about 11pm - I was already asleep and my husband was watching TV - he heard a knock (very soft) at our bedroom door. He told it it couldn't come in - no more noise. Then last night, about the same time, I was up and I heard the knocking on our door. I'm not sure what to make of this.. Anyone with any ideas. Please feel free to enlighten me.

Hi, well I kinda think my house is haunted .. or maybe rather me. Anyway when I was about 5 or 6, in my room things would fall off tables and cabinets, I could hear this scream and other times heavy breathing, one time a bag full of veggies and food, lifted up in the air about 8 or 9 feet high then tipped over and all the things dropped out of it, then the bag flew back down to the ground.

Sometimes my dog would bark at the wall or sometimes at thin air.

One time I was passing this house and I swear I saw a woman standing at the window staring at me.

A year later we moved and I had to leave my dog at my granny's.

We moved to a flat, and my brother who was about 4 or 3 at the time would come into my room and say that there's someone in his room, and they want to play but he doesn't want to play.

He never said if it was a girl or a boy.

Then one time he sat by the wall,smilling and laughing at thin air, saying that the girl in the corner is very funny and she's smiling and laughing with him.

Once I looked into the mirror in the bathroom and I could almost swear I saw someone walk out, but when I tured around no one was there.

Later we moved again and nothing bothered me for a whole year and a half untill we moved again.

About 3 months after we moved, I could feel suddenly cold and even freezing and I could feel like someone was watching me.

At night in my bedroom I could hear screetching at the door and banging on the walls, sometimes I would hear my door creak open and close by itself, and I realoly hated the mirror closet I had in my room, it was right by my bed and it freaked the hell out of me.

I could hear the scratching at my door and the mail slot bang and bang on the door.

I hate it, I still live in the house now and it freaks me out sometimes, mostly at night.

But now we're going to move again.

I lived in a haunted house & eventually had to move out of it.The previous owner warned us it was haunted. I remember laughing at her at the time. As time went by things began to happen in the house. Water would run in the bathroom & so you would turn it off & go back to bed just to hear something had turned it back on again. Doors would open & slam shut all night long. My son & I saw a transparet Grim reaper come through the walls towards us about three feet off the floor as we were getting some meat pick out of the freezer down stairs.It glided toward us then jittered around & glided back up the stairs. We would see them glide down our hall ways upstairs & towards the living room then dissapper as they got closer.We would come home from work to find the attic lid had been opened up. We looked up there but saw or found nothing. No explanation for this & the house had a security system always turned on.One day my son was in the kitchen & could hear heavy breathing in his ear. So he reached up for a cup & offered it some cocoa. All true stuff I have mentioned. It got so bad the slamming of doors etc. we moved out & sold the house. Who can relax when you have unwanted visitors in your home? Just the last five yrs. it seems these transparent figures follow me.And one day I was sitting on my bed reading a book & I felt someone & saw the indention of someone sitting on my bed. Then a figure of all things appeared. It looked like a wooden maniken puppet sitting there. I could see right through it. Of all things to be it was that. I decided to take my arm & I put it through the object. When I did this it dissappeared. About two weeks ago my sister & I went on a trip to Idaho & stopped at a motel. After checking in we prepared for bed. After turning on the air conditioner we snuggled in our covers. Within ten minutes the room was hot as hell & we looked & the guages on the air conditoner had been turned to heat. Later after returning to bed we heard like a deck of cards being shuffled really loud. Scared us so badly I jumped out of bed & my sister said what in the hell was that? Just when we thought everything was calming down the wheels on my sisters suit case started spinning which her suit case was laying on her bed as we watched this. I believe these ghost or apparitions now follow me every where I go. I often have wondered what do they want or why?

I too wonder if it's me, not my house(s) that is haunted. Things have been happening to me since I was 3 - 37 years. My Grandmother ran Bigwin Island from the 60's to the late 70's and I stayed there with her a LOT. There I had my first experience along with two other playmates. Two very heavy wingback chairs and a long wooden table all levetated up and towards us. We were absolutely terrified, and being so young didn't know what was happening. We ran to my Grandma's apartment, and she nonchalantly explained that things happen all the time. Ever since, everywhere I go things happen with varying intensity; too many to relate here. I have many witnesses. My husband and I recently moved and now my animals are being affected, much to my chagrin. I see people who are not there, get touched,hear a voice saying HEY or HELLO when I am completely alone, hear loud footsteps every night at the same time in the same place of the house, see lights that wake me out of a deep sleep (and I'm talking blue light that is so bright it's like daylight, and we live in the country with no light pollution). I have horrific demonic nightmares but also dreams of deceased family who speak to me. My husband and I also hear voices, like a radio left on, but we have no neighbours close enough, and nothing on. Lights in the house and on the street go off or on when I'm there and I feel like I'm being watched, as does my husband. I feel a little crazy at this point, not to mention I never sleep a full night and am exhausted. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest.

I stumbled upon your hub while researching paranormal activity for my niece. Her story is quite strange and rather unique, although continues to be scary at the same time. She was 34 and met a man age 50 who fell instantly in love with her, wined and dined her, spending money on spa treatments $800 a night hotel room on the beach in Santa Monica, fancy dinners out, flowers and so on. He proposed to her within two months after meeting her. She was leery but he was an executive at a prestigious million dollar business located in a southern state and traveled to California every week. He told her he had sold his own business a few years earlier for several million dollars, was divorced, childless and both parents deceased and so lonely that all he did was work. She accepted the engagement ring and although he really pushed for a quick wedding to follow, she insisted that they needed to wait because things didn't seem to add up, inconsistent stories he told her. Meanwhile, back at her apartment odd things began to happen. Radio turning on by itself in a room-mates room although the headset was plugged in the sound somehow would come out the radio speaker loudly. The front door would open by itself and then my niece began to see a small orb following her from time to time. The orb followed her outside the apartment and would also appear in the hotel where she rendezvous with her fiance. The floating orb seemed to go crazy when the fiance was around, flying above him radically and very quickly dipping and diving at him where before it just gently hovered near her. Could this be the spirit of her father who had died fifteen years earlier she wondered and if so, what was he trying to tell her? Soon the inconsistent stories and little lies she would catch the fiance in and the irradical disposition of the orb drove her to check the fiance' cell phone while he was out of the room where she noted a text from another woman who wrote 'miss you and love you'. Long story short, the fiance was trying to pull a double life. He had a girlfriend in his home state that was about to move in with him. He had a daughter in college, his mother was still alive and he was not worth much money. When she broke up with the fiance', she spent a lot of energy on her laptop trying to get him to admit to the deceit and lies, he was a compulsive lyer. She took a break and went into the kitchen and while gone heard a thump come from her bedroom. When she went to see what had fell, her laptop which she left in the middle of her bed was lying several feet away on the floor. It was as if something threw it off the bed. She took that as a sign to leave the guy alone. Since then, she has been bombarded with text messages and e-mails from the man wanting her back and then irrational messages mingled inbetween. He continued to send more flowers, gift baskets and calls at all hours. She suspects that there are other women in other states that this guy has preyed upon as well. The sacry part is the tatoo that the man has on his back. He portrayed himself as a conservative business man yet the tatoo on his back is of a naked woman lying on her side in a pool of blood with eight sculls around her. My niece has nightmares that this guy is standing above her with a pillow in his hands trying to suffocate her. Her question is: do you think the orb was trying to warn her about the man before she found out what he was up to and if so, could it have been the spirit of her father? As for her safety, I have advised her to get a restraining order against this guy and to watch her back when leaving home.

i dont really know what to do about all of this exactly, i feel kind of silly reaching out this way. i recently moved back into my mothers house with my three year old. ive noticed my three year old, while in his room for nap or bed time, answering questions with complex answers and pauses included. i tried to shrug it off until today. while i was away my boyfriend was watching my son and he said he had noticed the same thing, my son answering questions while sitting alone in my mothers room. he said he didnt think anything of it until he heard my son let out a blood curdling scream. as the scream got louder the lights in the house dimmed and my boyfriend ran back to the bedroom. he came into the room and he said my three year old was crying histarically and looked like he was trying to fight something off. he asked him what was wrong and he said "my friend is being mean to me". he then complained of shoulder pain. now my three year old isnt exactly stupid but there is no way he is capable of knowing what an "imaginary friend" is. since we moved here he wont sleep alone any more (which he never had a problem with before) and he wont even go to the back of the house to use the bathroom (he opts to urinate on himself or i have to go with him). im worried about him and i dont know what to do. is this a paranormal activity? if so should i contact a priest, smudge the house? im at a loss and scared for my son. please help.

I am living with a friend, and at night after we are in bed it sounds like some one is waking around in the hall. Every morning around 1:30 2:00 am in my room it fells like some one sets down on the foot of my bed. This happens every night and early morning.

umm i hate whats happening in my house. I have never been more afraid of anything. I feel like a coward. It started when a friend needed a place to stay for a month so I let her live in my spare room. Two days after she left; I woke up to my covers being pulled off. I yanked them back on and then they slowly pulled away again. A few nights later i was "attacked" by some huge black figure and i could see finger imprints on my bed, but there were no hands there...this happened two nights in a row. I was terrified to sleep. I took some pictures and white balls showed up and a shadow in another with a distinct face. The one thing that I feared the most was one night at around 3:30 a.m. my fan i always run at night just turned itself to the off position. I moved out for a month after this. I cant sleep somewhere that fan nobs turn them selves three positions over on there own. I hear foot steps on a regular basis and try to ignore them. I've heard singing, faint conversations I cant really hear the words. I know when its there because i feel the apprehension, but in the day its almost never in my house. I dont know what it is, but i did get my house blessed and started sleeping in it again with the lights on. What could it be and how did it come into my house from a visitor staying in my spare room?

also ..i didnt mention that my daughter has had the same problems since she was 2 years old and I went to stay with her for Thanksgiving and the 3rd night I was there a picture of her and me fell off a shelf at 300 a.m. that was next to my bed...so terrified. Then 2 days later in the middle of the day a mirror in the next room fell off the wall while me and her were standing in the hall having a conversation. My family jokes that if my daughter and I are in the same house it will glow in the dark. I don't find any of it funny, but people who dont experience these things tend to poke fun at us.

I have been experiencing strange things in the house that my parents owned from 1977 to 2002 when my father passed away (not in the house) and mother deeded the house over to me. My husband and I moved in that year and lived in it together happily until last October when he died from a heart attack right in front of me. We had a good 30 year marriage. About a month or so after he died weird things started to happen. Electrical wires are tugged at the outlet as if someone is trying to unplug them. The 55" flat screen rocks back and forth and from side to side. The huge TV stand that its on is made of several shelves of big panes of glass. When the table was delivered in a box it took 3 big men to carry it into the house. But now the stand moves back and forth and side to side on its own (with the TV on top of it!), It never moves more than a couple of inches then changes direction. This goes on pretty much 24/7. Even the laptop I'm using to write this is having its screen gently rocked from side to side as I'm doing so. The molding around the door jams in the hallway and the large cabinet above the bar expand and contract as if something was breathing inside them. Right now I am sitting on a couch in the living room (not the room he died in) that is slipcovered. If you look at the back cushion you can see it appear to pant like a dog (short, fast breaths). There is no sound. This couch also gets pulled away from the wall towards the middle of the room at times. If I yell "Stop" it will slowly move back into place. A dresser in our bedroom that is way too heavy for me to budge moves out from the wall and then back at times as well. I have told him to leave and that he no longer belongs with the living. He needs to "cross over". So far it is still going on, and I'm about to go nuts. Also in our back yard things on our patio shake and round areas of grass (probably 2 feet in diameter rise up and then go back down like huge air bubbles. Do you think that it's my husband hanging around & if so what should I do? I don't know how much more I can take. The only one who believes me is my 90 year old mother. She claims she never saw any strange activity in the 25 years she lived in the house.

My cousin and my sister had paranormal activaty too. My cousins IPad kept on switching of and switching on. And more, but once it happened to her. My sisters chair was moving and my sister saw it in her on own eyes. But she fell asleep because it was 1:00 in the morning. The next day her chair was moved to the other in her room next to mirror when before it was in the other side next to her computer! Since my sister and my room are next door I'm starting to get really worried about myself. Nothing funny happened to me I'm guessing becauseim a very deep sleeper and I'm starting to think this has happened to me when I'm asleep. What should I do?!

a year ago xmas eve my friend died in my arms,and now i am liveling in the house she was liveing in.since i have been here there are strange thing going on,like wonts i opened the washer door to put some clothes in i ran up stairs to bring the clothes down and when i did the washer was spining fall of water.plus my son seen a old lady looking at him in the bedroom,my curtains moved even though there wasnt any windows open.my dog barks at some thing what i cant see he looks terrifed at what his barking at,i also feel the presants of some body.my phone rang and when i anwserd it my husband phone rang saying it was me ringing his phone how could that of happend he was even sitting next to me when the phone started ringing him..can you please tell me if it could be my friend who died.if so why is she letting me no she is here because it is scaring me and my son.

I have had two things that have seemed abnormal to me. One night I had a dream that someone was trying to break into our house. I started texting a friend and asked her to save me because I was scared. Then I started getting these unanimous texts that I couldn't really comprehend, but I made out the name Robert. I woke up, relieved that it was only a dream but suddenly felt an urge to check my phone. I checked my contactd and found that the person who I was texting in my dream, who I asked to save me was gone from my list. Another small thing is that right when I usually go to sleep, I turn on Nick@Night and then fall asleep with the tv on. When I woke up the next morning, I realized that someone had turned the channels to a Christian program. I assumed that maybe two things were recording on my DVR at the same time last night so I checked my recorded list. The last thing I recorded was about two weeks ago so I was stunned questioning over and over again, "who turned my channel?" Please answer both of these ASAP.

I'm 18, and as I sat here doing a research paper for English, I just had what I almost think might be a paranormal experience. It's late at night, and I believe what just happened was that I heard someone walk up the stairs of my house, heard them open my bedroom door, felt them sit down for a short while on my bed, and then heard them walk back down again. This is the first time I've ever experienced anything that even feels remotely paranormal, and for an empirical future scientist, it's a distinctly unique feeling.

I will put in a disclaimer that I live in a house with two cats, which could explain the passage up the stairs I perceived. The steps were too light for a material human. However, I heard very distinctly what sounded like my bedroom door knocking with light to moderate force against the wall. Nothing in my house has moved spontaneously before.

I feel certain that if a member of the spiritual world was truly in my room, he or she was sitting on my bed. I almost thought I could see an aura of a human form, though I was not actually certain of what I was seeing. Although the distinct feeling of another presence, that sort of tingly feeling on your neck hairs, seemed to have subsided when I began typing this comment, it has now just returned. When I first felt it, I was immediately completely convinced that something paranormal was occurring. I was beginning to second guess myself until I felt it just now.

My home has no history of hauntings, at least as far as I know. My dad is a pastor, and our parsonage home has had no trauma or death in its history, or at least none of which I've heard.

Do curious ghosts and spirits occasionally wander into places not known for hauntings and have I just had such an experience, or am I simply a sleep deprived teenager who has already wasted far too much of his time freaking himself out about a spiritual world which has never done him wrong, when he should have been writing a report on online privacy?

Are the tingly feelings of a presence in the room that have been rolling and oscillating like crashing waves ever since I began typing this paper, are they simply the wild imaginings of a teenager who feels cheated for never having experienced a paranormal event despite a deep desire for proof and understanding of the paranormal and perhaps because of his half-admitted fear of things which he does not understand?

I don't know.

I guess all I'm really trying to say is that I thought I just felt something.

Had the fourth "encounter" yesterday morning. I was just finishing in the shower (a maybe 10 minute shower) to my surprise, my children's bedtime bath soap fell into the bathtub AGAIN. i will go back three months now… the first time it happened, it was in the middle of the afternoon. I heard the thuds, checked it out, thought, that's weird. the next time, (three weeks later) i woke up, went to the bathroom, I noticed the bottle of soap in the tub… weird i thought.. then the third time was the creepiest..about 3 weeks later. I woke up at exactly 4:33, my ears hurt like someone had been pulling on my earrings really bad, felt very strange, so i took them off and tossed them beside me. Next thing I hear is a loud whap bam bam bam… i thought, I recognize that sound… My heart started pounding and realized something ominous was going on. I told the spirit to go away, go to the light, whatever it would take to leave but it didn't hear me bcuz it came back yesterday. i know it sounds logically explainable but the side of the tub is completely flat, no round edges at all and it was dry at every single episode. Eerie… would appreciate some input or advice for not feeling so freaked out. I saw a psychic tonight to get some advice , she reassured me that the spirit is harmless but she didn't look that convincing. :(

Three nights of weird things happened. The first night everybody was in their own room, and three bowls fell of our shelf but they were not near the edge of the shelf. The second night, we came back and the sink was filling up from the bottom and it was full of suds. No one had been using the sink since we left which we were only gone for 15 minutes. Third night, last night, our kitchen counter was covered in a lot of water and so was the floor. The plumber came and had nothing to tell us about where on earth this water could have come from because nothing was leaking and the sink was dry. He told us we probably spilled a cup of water, which nobody did and it was much more than a cup of water on the counter and floors.

We have lived in this house for 12 years and there have been several strange things that have happened, but what I don't understand is why. The house was only 10 years old when we bought it from the family who built it and they were the only ones to ever live in it. It's in a planned community on a street with many other houses, pretty close together. The previous owners were middle aged couple whose two children had grown up and moved out. They just moved away when they sold the house, so there are no deaths that we know about.

The thing that has happened over and over since we moved here are objects disappearing and other objects reappearing. We do not witness this happening but here are a few examples:

A couple of years after we moved in one day I walked into the kitchen and saw a boys jacket hanging over one of the dining room chairs. It was not my sons, not even his size. I asked him anyway just because I didn't know how it got there. He said he had never seen it before and he had not had any friends over recently who may have left it, and again it would have been about 3 sizes too small for any of his friends. We asked all of them anyway, just to make sure. No one claimed it. This kind of creeped me out so I took the jacket to Goodwill and gave it away. A day or two later, when I needed to charge my cell phone, I went to the drawer where I always keep my charger, always. It wasn't there. I looked all over the house, even though I always made a point of putting it back in the same kitchen drawer every time so I would know where it was. It was no where to be found, so I went to my husbands office to get his charger to use since it was the same type as mine. He got up and went to the bookshelf where he always put his charger and it was not there. He looked everywhere and couldn't find it. We looked all over the house again and again and asked both of our kids who were in middle school at the time and did not yet have cell phones of their own. They said they hadn't seen them either. We bought new chargers and kind of forgot about it. They never showed up anywhere in the house.

About a year or less passed and I was doing laundry and pulled the towels out of the dryer. Along with the load there was a very large beach towel that I had never seen before. I asked both of my teenagers if they had seen it or if they knew where it came from. No one knew. It sort of appeared the same way the boys jacket did. I thought about getting rid of it, but thought maybe if I did, something else would go missing. (crazy I know) So I kept it.

A few years later, a boys hooded sweatshirt was hanging in our laundry room along with some other clothes. It did not belong to any of us, it was nothing I had ever seen before, and it was not even my sons or his friends size. We asked everyone who had been at our house anyway, just to make sure. It didn't belong to anyone. We laughed about it and I hung it in our coat closet, afraid to get rid of it. At first, I think these things scared our kids, but over the years in order to cope, I assume, they have started affectionately calling our "ghost" Mrs. Jenkins. So when something happens now, we just say it was probably Mrs. Jenkins.

We have had this same situation with different types of objects happen over and over throughout the years. It has continued now even though both of our kids have been out of the house for several years. We received a cutting board a couple of years ago that we use regularly. But most recently, I went to get my cell phone charger and there were two of them there. My phone only came with one and we have not bought an additional one. But, within a few days of this happening, my Kindle charger has gone missing.

I know to some people it sounds like we are just forgetful or misplacing items or maybe playing tricks on each other, but I know that is not the case. We never had these things happen before and if it was a joke by one of our kids, they would have told us by now, and as I said these things continue even though they both have moved away.

There have been other unexplained things happen too.

We once had a plant fall off of the ledge in the den for no reason. It was not even placed near the edge of the ledge and it had been in the same place for years and one day, just fell off as if someone knocked it off. My husband and I did see this happen and it was a little disturbing. We were the only ones in the house when it happened. I was awaken one night by the feeling of someone scratching the bottom of my foot. That has been by far the most upsetting thing that has happened.

I don't think it is a mean spirit, but I would like to understand why this is happening and how to maybe stop it.

I live in a condo complex where there was a tragic fire in the mid 1960's . Five firemen lost their lives. I have always felt a strange presence in the halls and laundry room. Sometimes you can smell smoke but there is no fire. Oddly enough there is a funeral home that was built on the property as well as my building. There was also a suicide in which the person passed about a week before anyone knew. That was last summer.

I am not the only one that has experiences. I believe I have always been open to the paranormal and that is one of the reasons I have experiences. There are times when I hear music coming from a old radio station. The elevator is always doing its own thing. Others have experienced hearing firemen with their equipment.

Lately I have had some very odd activity in my apartment. the kitchen to be exact. It's usually about the same time during the 1-3 am times ( I am up working on my computer) I have witness lids coming off of coffee cups and not just falling, literally projecting out then falling. Noises I can't explain. On my terrace, the tablecloth on my table will be folded over neatly covering the ashtray. I have been unable to debunk it and I decided to removed the tablecloth because I was feeling edgy about it.

The laundry room is definitely one of the most active places. My friend in the building had her young niece and nephew over. She took them to take the laundry out of the dryer and her 6 y/o niece asks her brother if he saw the ghost. We couldn't believe it. .

Last night I heard a noise then noticed that there was a trail of three pretzels on the floor, I have no idea how they got there. Since the bag was on the kitchen counter.

I think the activity has increased during the last 6 month. Two weeks ago there was another tragic accident with a pedestrian that was killed crossing the street.

When I lived in my parents house, after my divorce, I would encounter a presence in the house but not malicious and never seemed to bother me. However, when I moved back a second time, I would sleep in the basement. Right after my parent sold their home, I had two experiences with something evil as if it wanted me out. We had an overnight guest one holiday and they brought their mastiff dog with them The dog did not want stay there and was very nervous.

Could it be that I am just sensitive to paranormal activity. The super has said he hears crying from the apt where the woman committed suicide. I don't think I'm crazy. I just wish it would stop.

My husband and I Live out in the country on a duck hunting club we are caretakers. We moved out there a few years ago, and I never really noticed anything weird or strange, but as time went on I started to notice things that I cant explain. Like when I am making breakfast in the club house before the duck hunters arrive at 3am, and I hear the front door open, and foot steps walking toward the kitchen but no one is there. Or how I had this box of nails on top of my fridge that had been there for months and never moved, and im watching tv in the living room, and it just flies off the top of the fridge. My microwave sometimes just stats beeping, and I can hear the buttons being pushed when no one is in the kitchen. cabnet doors open after I know I have shut them. My dog stood in the door way of my bathroom and all of a sudden his hair stood up and he just stared aggressivily barking at the wall, and I got up and looked and there wasnt even a bug in the bathroom. I cant explain any of this, and my husband doesnt believe. I dont know if its me or if there is some paranormal stuff going on in my home. I dont feel scared by this just want to know whats going on or if I am crazy.

I've been having several "problems" the last few months but within the last month things have really gotten worse. Simple things like the feeling that I'm being watched, I'm much more jumpy (i.e. when my boyfriend walks around the corner I jump about a mile in the air), our coffee maker will randomly turn itself on and off, i have 2 small children, (1 1/2 and 6 months) and my oldest will sit and "talk" to someone late at night and my son can't get through a whole night in our house (when i visit my family he will sleep all night without waking up). The most notable is a photo i took about 2 months ago with orbs in it and now i have some videos of my kids with more of a stream of light. I've had confirmed that we did have someone with us (a guardian angle that was with my oldest if you will) and it was very friendly, never made me feel uncomfortable and even "appeared" in a dark shadow to me from time to time. This is different. It feels different and I guess at the end of the day I'm just lost and need to figure out what to do. It has me on edge and I noticed my oldest started becoming very attached to a blanket which is a sign of stress. We are a happy family, i stay at home and my boyfriend owns his own business so he is flexible with time. No reason for my baby girl to feel stressed...and literally as i'm typing this at (12:01 a.m. I hear my daughter wake up and now is "talking" to something...this is becoming much more frequent) Any help or suggestions please let me know! We are the second owners of the house and nothing to exciting happened with the first owners I was mentioning to my mom last night how much worse things are getting and how uncomfortable I've become with whatever is in the house, and she pointed out something I never thought of. As I mentioned we run our own business and shortly after having our daughter August 2010 our office assistant who came to our house monday-friday passed a way from a drunk driving accident. I'm not sure if she would have anything to do with it and less then a month ago my boyfriend's grandmother passed away.

Hey, i wanted to share this with you all. Firstly im originally from essex but moved to Brighton Uk for a degree. I am in my third year and me and a friend rent an old english cottage together.. From the first night we lived here we heard footsteps around the house.. However things have got worse, the microwave blew up, then the oven went... then recently, the laundry basket flew off the stairs... one picture was thrown across the kitchen and smashed out of its frame ( The hook still hanging).. i came on here because 2nite another picture fell down in our living room.. However, when i inspected it, it was upside down on the floor propped up against the wall??? I really have no idea what is going on, i have taken pictures of around the cottage and there are white dots on the images and i think they may be orbs.. Has anyone experienced things missing, then reappearing in another place. they are usually things that I use everyday and then....viola....gone.....then sometimes they reappear n the same place, I have heard the theory about parallel world, is this theory the same as paranormal.

I was sleeping and something grabbed my left arm, a stong hold, trying to lift me up, and all of a sudden, I don't know why, I kept my eyes shut and started praying the pater nostrum and it vanished all of a sudden. Is very strange that I wasn't scared, I just kept sleeping. I learned days after, that my retarded brother died a few days before. Days after that, a pompom I had in my room rolled and I heard a laugh..this was very frightening.

I have had two new encounters this week. Friday was gloomy in NJ, and when I looked in my utility closet, there was a flashlight light. I assumed my son was looking for something and left the small flashlight on. I didn't get up to look at it. When I did, I noticed that it was a metal lantern that I have. The switch to turn it on is not easy and requires some force. I was very anxious about it since it was in the middle of the shelf. I had to go, fearing any bad energy would follow me to work, I left it on until I returned home.

The second incident was the night before , usually it happens between 1-3. A bag of pretzels was open and I put a rubber band around them to keep them bag closed. I walked into the other room, and there was a trail of three pretzels, in a small semi circle next to my bed. I have no idea how they landed there. I tried to debunk, but the position the were in would have meant I would have to step on them to go to the other side of the room.

Someone suggested putting a glass of water in each corner of my apartment. I did more research on the fire that took place on the property 40 years ago. The was a forced explosed that propelled the firemen and caused the wall to collapse on them. The article talks about trying to recover the remains. This was an all voulunteer fire dept. and the one name that I felt connected to was that of a tavern owner, whom was 46 at the time and Chief of the FD. I don't feel there is any thing malicious and that would explain hearing the '40's music, the same tune, all the time. Music from the tavern. I also know the bowling alley had a cocktail lounge It was established in the late forty's or early fifty's.

Any suggestions on how to find out what is going on. I was tempted to use a Ouija board but since there was so much tragedy in this area, would this be harmful?

Hi I'm not sure what's going on in my home when I was about 12 to 14 a man in a rim hat and long jacket used to visit me regularly in my room I would first hear footsteps and then they would immediately stop I'd look over and he'd stare at me in the doorway did the same thing every time he came and it was at night once he came in and came to my bed and touched me I'm 26 now and dont live in that room for about 10 to 12 years now my parents do my mom sees him during the day same way but sge doesn't hear steps he appears very sudden and directly in her face about 3 times a month if she goes downstairs at night to use bathroom when she goes back up after second step she gets a sense of fear like someone is chasing her and runs up I felt the same I won't go in that room now unless I have to since leaving house to go to college and had own apartments before moving back home again I've experience and heard activity in every home I've been in my niece may be experience same thing now in room next to bathroom and stairs wakes up at night talking says its a little girl she talks to recently found our that a couple lived there About 25 years ago wife died and husband forced to a home he was a bitter man when alive and used to wear a gold brim hat and long jacket I currently live in basement a lot of noise activity there but no sightings of my knowledge but sense something there at times I'm not sure what's exactly going on my mom recently had house blessed and afraid that night have not been a good idea now she wants a cleansing I'm scared for me neicw and myself It terrified me before I don't want it to do it again please post back here or at ericawaters16@hotmail.com there's more but can go on and on

Hello, My sister and brother in law are experiencing some paranormal activity- mostly in their bedroom. This activity occurs mostly at night. The events started the beginning of this year and are increasing in strength. The bed covers have been pulled off of my brother while he was watching TV, he has been punched in the back while lying in bed, and a very heavy piece of armor plating was picked off his dresser and thrown into the wall a few feet away. There is now a hole in the wall. These events do not seem friendly to me. An interesting note to this is that my other brother in law commited suicide Jan 2 this year, and the events began right after. What should we do? Thank you for your help.

I dont know whats going on in my house I have been living in it for 2 years .I have found out that a young woman was murdered in it . She was a very lovely and happy person a nurse and loved by all . So before I moved in I had the vicar around to bless the house. Last week I was watching the tv around about 12 30pm suddenly I had a power cut for no reason put the light of my mobil on and sensed something coming from around my settee so I took a picture, on this picture you can clearly see a image of a woman with a light around her then the electric came back on . no one else seem to have a power cut what do think could be happening , I welcome all comments .

i had similar event a few years ago, my wife and family was all out shopping, when my mobile started ringing with a call from our house phone, i couldn't hear anything when i answered it and put the phone down, two min later my wife's mobile started ringing from our house.

we rushed home thinking somebody had broke in or playing a practicle joke but everything was untouched.we don't keep spare keys or give them out to anybody.

I have lived in this house for 8 months. About 3 months ago I was in the kitchen when I heard the tv go on, it was very loud. I froze for a minute then went to the living room and it stopped.

Last night I shut my bedroom door to watch some tv. About 10 minutes later I decided to get a bite so I opened the door and went to the kitchen. When I came back a few minutes later I entered my room put my drink and toast on the night table turned around to close the door and one of my running shoes was put right in the middle of the doorway. It was not there when I got up or when I came back in, only when I turned to shut the door. This is not my first experience with this kind of thing, years ago I we the presence of a small child. Being very young back then I did not look into it. Now I wonder...what the Heck is going on? Why me? I am a lover and believer in GOD and I go to him with this. But until he gives me an answer does anyone out there have one?

i am wondering if you can help me ever since i have been a little girl i have had the feeling someone is following me even when i move house weird stuff keep happening like voices even when no one is in the house apart from myself banging scratching noices i have also seen shadows out the corner of my eye also cupboard doors opening and the heater fell over the other night and it is really heavy and stable so for it to fall over someone would have had to knock it over there was another incident when i was just coming out the toilet but i could not walk any further as someone or somethibng had a hold of my trousers it firtst i thought i was caught on something but when i turned round to find what i was caught on i was not there was nothing in my way eventually after a minute i was able to walk out the bathroom as i was let go my dog has started acting really strange he has started barking and growling at something or someone that it is not there he never used to bother about sitting in a room on his own now he will follow me all over the house he stares into space as if he is looking at something please can you help me

Hey. I've been worrying about my uncle. He says that he sees this black mist in his house all the time. It will only come around him and his two year old son. It won't come around his wife, and she's starting to doubt him. Its causing a lot of emotional stress. He really gets freaked out when he starts talking about it. He said it opens cabinets and he sees it lingering in many different parts of the house. He told me that it would get in front of the Dish network box, and it would be so thick that he couldn't flip through the channels until it passed. It would tap on his shoulder and knock on the floor behin his recliner. He told me about this story one time when him and his wife were in bed and he felt something lift the covers off of his feet. It startled him, and he said he watched the mist go to the other side of the bed where his wife slept, and he said while she was asleep she started whispering words. When she stopped, she jolted out of sleep and started crying for no reason. He said he could hear a faint yet so close chuckle while she was crying. It's really starting to freak me out and I want it to stop. Anything will help. Thank you for taking your time to read this and trying to help.

I don't think it's my house that is haunted but as of recently I'll be laying in my room and will get cold breezes around me we don't have ac do I know it's not that and my windows and doors are shut in my room and I also have been getting really cold chills when I'm driving sometimes where I just have chills and goosebumps but my heat will either be on in my car or no heat or ac so it's weird to all of a sudden be freezing cold please let me know what you think I think it may be my son who passed away almost 2 years ago

My ghost activity was quite for about 3 weeks. However,they are remodeling our lobby and that is when it started in again.

Strange things, that I just can't put my finger on. On my dining room table I had 4 AA batteries that I removed from a radio, and the next time I looked there were all standing upright on the table. I can't figure this one out because I have a table cloth on the table and nothing rarely will stand upright.

Three days ago, I was in my kitchen and for a split second, I could see someone rush past me, it was a dark figure and moved really fast. I felt uneasy because that was the first time I saw a manifestation. The next day, my best friend came over to visit and brought her dog with her. He always loves to come here, I give him treats and its usually in the kitchen where I feed him. But for some reason, he pranced into the kitchen, took a treat from me and went back to the living room. For the next two hours, he refused to go back into the kitchen. It is a galley kitchen and would not step into it and literally walked around the living room to get to the other site. He has NEVER done that before. Then this morning I was in bed and hear some strange voice that was a mixture of music and voice. but no one was in the hallway. I am hoping that whomever, whatever resides here with me, is very fixed on leaving items in a straight row. I am not sure if I should try to communicate with this entity or if would pose more harm than good. Any ideas?????

well my sons school took a picture of him last year and made two prints, they kept one and gave me the copy, well about a week ago my dad was cleaning the church yard and came across my son pic, stuck in the dirt, the thing is i have the photo and so does the school, we all found this to be so strange, what do you all think???

So, here is the scenario. My daughter, grandson and myself are sitting at the dinner table and my daughter has for the $9 I borrowed from her. I got my wallet and only have a $50 dollar bill. She said, that will do. We laughed, I said I don't think so and but the folder $50 back in my wallet, zipped it and put it in my purse. I got up to go check the laundry room (I claim anything I find in the washer). About 15 minutes later, I was walking in the kitchen and felt something in my shoe. I took off my shoe and there was the a $50 bill. I went and look in my purse and my wallet was still zipped and the $50 was missing. Any suggestions? A separate incident that occurred in Sept 2011. I was getting the video camera ready for my son's football game and my granddaughter (2 years old) was on the bed. I was testing the new tape i put in and started videoing her, she was looking to my right, like someone was trying to tickle her, she laughed and reached out with one of her hands. When i turned to look at what she was looking at there wasn't anything there. I didn't video that area, but I did get her actions on the camera. Suggestions?

I just moved into my apartment about 4 months ago..little things have happened since then like the lid to my trash will swing but no ones standing there. My radio turned on by itself and my dvds flew off the shelf. Its all happening in one area of my apartment...is this paranormal or can this be explained logically?? Help!!

hi... your post is awesome and very true.. am from india and we have certain beliefs.we believe that every person is surrounded by a layer we call it in bengali as (raashh). its like u are surrounded by a magnetic feild. some have positivity some have negetivity.. some have strong some have faint.. people with faint layer are believed to experience paranormal activities whereas people sitting or standing in the same location cannot see or feel anything... my mom can feel many things where as my dad doesn"t.. me and my sister we arte way scared of all these things but never felt it similarly... my mom can even feel the presence of something very positive or rather presence of GOD whereas we don"t.. i think spirits are everywhere,maybe somewhere in specific or maybe somewhere due to supernatural happening.. even in india we believe in "VAASTU SHASHTRA" it means the technology of desighing home.. if the home directions or set up is wrong then also such type of paranormal activities can be faced..we say if the house directions are wrong it may hold back the spirit of the dead who died in that house..

My sister had recently moved into this house they have only been there for a few months..she has told me very strange things that has been happening to her and i can tell she is scared..she told me a couple of weeks ago that she had taken a bath and had been out the tub for over 5 minutes and she said all of a sudden the water started moving real fast her boyfriend also seen it..i noticed yesterday that she was acting weird while we were over at a friends house..i called my friend today to see what her problem was and she said that she acted like that the hole time like she was scared..and later on that night while she was still over our friends house all she did was touch the door nod and the glass shattered toward her....i am soooo scared for her please tell us what we could do

I'm not sure if I am seeing things or not but 1 month ago, i saw shadows through out the night for 3 consecutive nights. I tried to rule out any possible solutions but couldn't find any evidence that will give me a solid proof. The shadow also seemed to be scratching at my window or clinging to it while peeking in. I haven't taken pictures because I was very afraid of moving. Also during the appearance of the shadow, my monitor turned on so i slowly crept to turn it off. But as i crept back to my bed and closed my eyes, the monitor turned on again. I thought it might have been something strange with the wiring of my monitor but it seemed fine after i returned home in the afternoon. The monitor was off in the morning and off when i returned but in the middle of the night around 1am to 3am it turned on again. I didn't do anything else at all after that and it stopped. However, a few nights ago continuing to today, I've been finding a lot of bruises on my body in the morning. Is it just that I'm thinking of it too deeply?

In the spring of 2003, I was watching a Roman Catholic exorcism video in preparation for a class on world religions. My wife was at work, my two oldest children were downstairs watching TV, and my 18 month old child was in bed close to me. I began to hear a loud knocking. At first, I thought the children were beating on the wall. I asked them to stop because I feared that the baby would awake. After a few minutes, I confronted them. They told me that they were not knocking. They thought I was knocking. As my son and I went to the door leading from the downstairs, the latch began to go up and down rapidly. We stared in disbelief. I asked him, "That is not suppose to do that by itself, right?" My son turned very white and ran away. That was the beginning of several months of harassment. The harassment included footsteps on the wooden floors, books being pushed off the top shelf, lound noises and/or crashing sounds, many things being taken and replaced at a later time, computers typing by themselves, stuff being placed in the pathway of the door when you tried to pull it shut, and the like. Taking important things was the most aggravating. For example, one day as I was going to class, I forgot something and had to go back to my room. When I did, I placed the car keys on the table. When I returned a minute later, they were gone. I was home alone. They rematerialized that evening. Fortunately, I found my spare set that was lost in a coat pocket. One time, I was teaching at another campus. I had my thumb drive in my pocket. It went missing before I got home. I searched for days. Two weeks later and after several washings, the thumb drive rematerialized in the same pocket while I was wearing it. Interestingly, I knew it would be there when it returned. That sensation happened several times.

Hi there, I have spent my life having all kinds of weird dreams things about this kind of stuff but today its my husband that is concerning me. WHen he was very very young a man that he was very close to died, he never had any sitings of him before and all of a sudden "wally" turns up at our home today and stands outside the back door staring at my husband (i didnt see him), this happened twice then when my husband blinked he was gone. Then My husband went down the road to the service station and on his way back home parked at the end of the road is a car he sold 8 years ago with no number plates and looking like it hasnt been driven since he sold it. Since then everytime i go outside i get weird goosebumps and my eyes start to water, is this all coincidence or connected in some way? Its to many coincidences for me and i would like to know what this means, can anyone help me?

my house has no history that would cause anything....but i feel like ghosts are somehow drawn to me sometimes i even see strange movements that no one is there to make but the scariest thing is that i will find things have been moved when i wake up or turned on.like my brothers remote ended up in the bathroom and my radio turned on.things are happening to me also i feel so much anxiety and im depressed i dont know if it is spirits trying reach meor wat i dont know whats going on and im only 14this is wierd.help me figure this out someone.please.

Ok ?my family and I just moved back into a house that we lived in a few months ago. while. We were living there before we would always see things out of the corner of our eyes passing through the room or across the hall way. Now that were back I've been working out of town a lot and my wife and kids are experiencing things that I'm not so certain of but last night my eight year old daughter came running to her mom crying saying something whispered into her ear hello 2 times and a couple nights before my wife was in the bed a heard something growling in the living room and when she got in there the dogs were asleep and she heard it growling beside her and 2 days ago my daughter tells my wife to tell me that my dad who passed away from cancer last Monday. Is ok and he is happy my wife asked how she kneows that a she said he told her and he was sitting beside her on the way to the grocery store earlyer that day. My wife has also experienced things falling and the dogs running through the house barking between the hours of 230 and 3 am. There are a few other things gng on too. Is there anything I can do?

Hey i never had anything quite like this happen to me until i moved out into a condo with my best friend. Strange things have been happening and we never thought much of it it was just things like noises from upstairs when we were on the ground floor and lights flickering ect....we just figured it was because of the house being older,but one day we left together to the mall locked the doors and when we came back he ran upstairs to the bathroom and i went to the kitchen to put some food away i didn't notice until i opened the fridge but all the dining room chairs were stacked up on the table with everything around it knocked over(we took a picture) at that point i really could not find an explination. The next morning i woke up went down to the kitchen and all the cupboards dwars everything was wide open. I later went to my room to call my mom while my roommate took a shower i put my phone on speaker and before the number finished dialing there was this deep harsh breathing sound that got louder until a highpitch sound than my whole phone died. I was scared so i ran to the bathroom my roommate unlocked the door and i went in and told him he told me he will just Finnish up and come talk to me, i closed the door behind me and when he tried to get out the door wouldn't open he didn't lock the door or anything there was this force that was holding it felt like. When he got out he went to take the garbage out this little girl approached him he said she was about 6-8 he said and she said to him do you live there to which he replied yes and she said we use to live there but then mommy got really sick and died upstairs. That was kinda creepy the worst night we had was when we had some people over drinki and what not and up stairs all the books in my bookcase were all over the floor no where near my bookcase, later all the sheets off my roommates bed were on the floor and an umbrella was open on the bed and he made his bed right before people came over once we were all upstairs the lights went off in the house only ours we could tell by looking out the window to the other houses as soon as some of the guys reached the bottom of the stairs they all turned on there were off for about 20mins my boyfriend told me after that i ran downstairs and locked the door but i actually pushed the lock into the wood of the door im 5'4 and 130 pounds three guys who are 280pounds couldn't take it out and had to bash it out with a hammer my roommate ended up in the basement sitting on the floor laughing but it wasn't his laugh. After that night we called a priest and got the house blessed every room closet ect but things were fine the day after today the chairs have been moving and noises keep coming from my room when we are in the living room before the house was comfortable since we got it blessed neither me or my roommate can shake this eerie feeling and shivers almost please let me know your opinion you can email me at paigealdred@gmail.com

I'm not going to jump right off and say my house is haunted or has a real paranormal thing going on...but some odd things have been happening here lately. I'm 22 ans still live at home to save some money, my room and my brothers room is upstairs...everything else is downstairs. First off, we had our house built beside my Nanny and Paw Paw's house. My Paw Paw passed away 3 years ago, my Nanny passed away just a year and a half ago. The house was sold to the church across from their house because they gave some land for the church parking lot and liked the pastor a lot. However, the church has been renting the house out for three weeks now and ever since then some weird things have started happening. We leave for a while and come back...and my parents bathroom light is on when they cut it off before they left...it's happened about 4 times now. My mom swears she heard people talking upstairs today when nobody was there and the tv's were off. I also just get some uneasy feelings here lately as if someone is watching me or something...i also get chills a lot all of a sudden. Nothing like this has ever happened before. If you could give me some advice or your opinion I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Although my home is air conditioned, it is turned off for the night. A floor fan near my fan is turned on low and blows directly on me. Last night I awoke to a crowd of voices is head coming from the fan. There was no way to make out any words as too many were speaking at once. The pace was rapid, but the sound was not loud. I peeked downstairs to see if the TV was on, but it was dark and feeling sleepy, I fell back to sleep. This was the first time I remembered the incident with the realization, this has happened before. It is also interesting to note today I received an email that a friend, living in another country and whom I had not seen in years died peacefully last night.

Ive been experceing what i think is paranormal stuff but im not sure ive heard banging on my wall more then once and i have not been able to sleep but i think its because of my medication. But when i wake up i wake up almost excalty the same time every night which is around 2:30. Last night i heard some kind of scream almost as if a women was screaming but i had my window open it could of been a fox. But the wall banging thats unexplanable because i have a chimbney right next to my wall i do admit ive played with a oujia board it least 5 times i hope that does not mean my house is haunted now..

Hi, i think i have activity in my apartment they were built in the mid 1960's i have 3to grandchildren ages 5yrs 3yrs and 6 months. First we would hear creeking upstairs as if someone would be walking on the floors while we were all down stairs. At first we would just brush it off until my oldest granddaughter experienced something at the time she was 3 and upstairs in my room she was so scared of what she saw she came running down the stairs so fast she fell and couldnt even speak for a couple of min. She than told me she saw a man with owwees on his mouth. Later my middle granddaughter experienced an encounter and described the same man. They have also said they have seen little kids. Activity got worse. I had had enough and decided i would pray over my home a friend told me i should burn sage as i did this i was home alone as i started to pray and all of a sudden i heard loud banging come fron my bedroom floor as if horses where wilding running through my room. I got so scared and ran out desperately trying to call someone for comfort. We would here draws open sounds as if someone was coming up the stairs and i would and there would be no one there. We would here dishes fall in the sink. Wake up to cabinet doors pulled open hangers moving i would see a person thinking it was ny daughter trying to hide frm me and than there would be no one there. The activity would come and go. My kids would describe things they experienced like my daughter was home alone showering she had a cd playing frm the room and all of a sudden i the cd started skipping through the songs and she started calling out thinking one of us were trying to scare her. Another time i was going to be alone my daughter decided to stay so i wouldnt be alone we were sleeping together i had fallen asleep first the tv was on on her side of the bed she got a scared feeling and turned towards me and shut her eyes she than felt a feeling not a cold feeling but a feeling as if someone was looking right over her head and shoulders and she became so overwhelmed with the feeling she tried waking me up and she couldnt move a muscle or make a sound for a good couple of seconds. These are the things we have experienced i cant seem to find history on this place.

I lived in a house that i believe was "haunted" it's a 2 story house but we never had a chance to use the 2nd floor.When we moved in,it was broken into and all the copper pipes were stolen so we had no heat or water.after a week the pipes were replaced and we thought we would finally unpack and start really living there.well,the pump was dry,no water at all,even after it rained.and suddenly we had a huge mouse infestation.in the 2 months we lived there we trapped over 25 mice.because of the mice we never unpacked or used the 2nd floor.my kids and i had to share a bedroom right off the livingroom.at night i would hear someone walking upstairs and up and down the wooden stairs but no one was there.i could see the stairs from the livingroom and never saw anyone on them.i would hear whispers and light laughing at night and thinking it was my kids i would get up to tell them to got to sleep,but when i got in the room,they were passed out!we had a cold spot in the hall between the livingroom and bathroom,which was also beside the bedroom my kids were in.it's weird that it was cold because at the end of that hall was a wood stove we had to use since for some reason our new propane tank would never stay full. with the wood stove going,it was 90 degrees in the hallway so a cold spot was very strange.i also didn't like going in the kitchen or adjoining dining room at night because since we hadn't really unpacked,there were no curtains and i always felt uncomfortable around the windows like someone was looking in at me.sometimes i would see a shadow or dark figure out of the corner of my eye but when i looked no one was there.this house was set off the road,surrounded by woods with no visible neighbors house so it was very uncomfortable to be there.after a little over 2 months we decided to move out of the house and into an apt. the water never returned while we lived there,the propane tank always seemed to "leak" but no noticeable propane odor,just and empty tank so we couldn't heat the house properly.the mice never stopped appearing in our livingroom and we had to trap them daily.and the whispers i heard were constant.i ended up getting used to hearing them and the footsteps upstairs and just tried to ignore them but never really felt comfortable in the home and never felt alone.the house has since been sold and i don't know if they are experienceing the same thing or not.i never returned to the house.i have driven by though.it doesn't look like a "typical" haunted house.just a cute little house set back from the road.I don't think the house is even that old but it's in a very old town and who knows what has happened on the land
