The perfect pork chop that your going to grill should be about an inch thick and there should be some fat on the pork chop and for the best flavor the bone should be on the pork chop.

How To Grill The Perfect Pork Chop

If you want to know the perfect pork chop for grilling has some fat on it, its about one inch thick, and the bone is still on the pork chop. Believe me the bone gives the grilled pork chop a lot of extra flavor. As does the marinade you put your pork chops in.

I suggest you use a large zip lock plastic bag and first you put your pork chops into the large plastic bag. Now you add the below ingredients into the plastic bag.

1. One Half Cup Of Olive Oil.

2. Two Tablespoons Minced Fresh Garlic.

3. Two Tablespoons Mustard.

4. One Teaspoon Dried Rosemary.

5. One Teaspoon Dried Thyme.

6. One Teaspoon Ground Sea Salt.

7. One Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper.

8. Two Tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice.

9. Two Tablespoons Soy Sauce.

10. Two Tablespoons Of Coke or Pepsi.

Once you have added all of the above ingredients to a large plastic bag zip the bag closed and place in the refrigerator overnight. While the pork chops are marinading in the bag flip the bag over once in a while so the marinade soaks into all the pork chops. The Coke or Pepsi is really the secret ingredient in this marinade. You want to only use the amount called for in the recipe of the Coke or Pepsi. If you use to much your pork chops will fall apart on the grill.

Have your grill on high to start with because the pork chops will not stick this way. Place the pork chops onto the grill as soon as the grill is hot and start cooking your pork chops. Turn them over frequently but do not pierce the pork chops with a fork. If you do you will be letting out juices and those juices are what makes your pork chops so delicious.

You don't want to burn your pork chops so about now reduce the heat to medium if your cooking on a gas grill or move the pork chops to the cooler side of the grill if your using a charcoal grill. Remember to turn your pork chops frequently so they don't burn. You don't want your pork chops to burn but you can mark them with the grill for a great presentation on your plates. You may want to consider serving Delicious Apple Dumplings with your grilled pork chops.

You want to cook your pork chops to an internal temperature of 165 degrees. This way they will be done and ready to eat and you need to move the pork chops to a platter or plate to allow them to cool and stop cooking. You are now ready to serve and enjoy your wonderful grilled pork chops.

Pork Chops are easy to grill and if you add the above marinade you'll end up with a pork chop that will be tender and delicious. If you really want a special pork chop brine your pork chops before you put them into the marinade. The best way to do this is use a large plastic container with lid and cover your pork chops with water that you have added one cup of sea salt to each gallon of water. Sea Salt works best and is more healthy for you than regular table salt. Once you have the pork chops in the brine solution put the plastic container in the refrigerator for at least four hours. Don't leave it much longer or the pork chops will be to salty. Once you have soaked the pork chops in the brine take them out and wash them off with cold running water. Now you are ready to soak your pork chops in the above marinade.

Let your pork chops rest for at least 15 minutes before you serve them after grilling. Try serving your grilled pork chops with steamed new potatoes and steamed brussel sprouts. Garlic Bread also goes great with this meal. Another thing you may want to consider serving with your grilled pork chops is fresh grilled corn. Grilled Pork Chops and grilled corn just go perfect together.

I guarantee you that you will have some of the most delicious grilled pork chops you will ever eat. I hope you will post your comments or questions below and thanks for taking the time to read.
