How To Cook Pork Loins

Be sure not to confuse pork loins with pork tenderloin. You will now find pork tenderloins wrapped and already seasoned with various seasonings in your local super market. Cook them according to the package directions for some of the most wonderful tasting pork tenderloin you will ever eat.You will find pork tenderloins flavored several different ways and with marinade of various types already added to it.

You can usually purchase pork loins with the bone in or the bone out. It will be much easier to work with if the bones have been removed. However a Crown Roast of Pork is a beautiful presentation item at a family dinner. Try having a Crown Roast Of Pork stuffed with stuffing at Thanksgiving rather than turkey. You can usually ask in your local butcher shop for a Crown Roast of Pork and you will often find them already stuffed in your super markets meat section around the Holiday Season.

There are many ways you can cook a pork loin but I am going to share several of my favorite methods of cooking a pork loin with you here.

Apple Cider Pork Loin Recipe

Here we are going to marinade our pork loin in apple cider over night and then add a delightful combination of spices to provide you with a pork loin your not soon going to forget. I would suggest using a large boneless pork loin for your recipe as this will work the easiest for you. If you don't have one purchase a heavy duty marinade needle. When you get ready to marinade your pork loin your going to need a large plastic container with a lid that your pork loin will fit in and be able to be covered with the apple cider. But before you place the pork loin into the container give it shots all over of the apple cider with your marinade needle. You will want to use regular apple cider purchased at your local super market. Your going to want to give your pork loin about 12 shots on each side with the marinade needle and then your going to want to put the pork loin in your large plastic container and pour apple cider over it until it is completely covered. Place the plastic container with the pork loin and apple cider marinade into your refrigerator and leave it there over night for the best flavor.

Tomorrow you want to remove the pork loin from the refrigerator and from the marinade and now you want to mix the below ingredients in a large bowl so that you can mix them well.

1. One Half Cup Of Brown Sugar.

2. One Tablespoon Of Ground Sea Salt.

3. One Tablespoon Of Paprika.

4. One Tablespoon Of Dried Onion Powder.

5. One Tablespoon Of Dried Powdered Sage.

Mix all those ingredients together well and when you have them all mixed up well together place your pork loin on the pan you plan to cook it on and then rub and pat the above dry mixture into it all over it until you have all the dry seasonings rubbed and patted on to the pork loin.

You will want to pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees and cover your pork roast with a layer of aluminum foil. Let it cook for 15 minutes at the 450 degrees and then reduce the heat to 350 degrees and let it cook for about one hour. You will need a meat thermometer and you'll want to cook your pork loin to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Make sure that you do not over cook your pork loin roast or it will be tough. Once your pork loin roast is done remove it from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before you slice the pork loin roast in thin slices and serve. This pork loin roast cooked this way is one of the best pork loin roasts you will ever get to eat. Pork Loin Roast With Delicious Apple Stuffing.

You will want to start by preparing your pork loin roast as in the above recipe and marinade it in the apple cider over night. Prepare the dry seasonings as in the above recipe and set aside. Now you will want to make the below apple stuffing to go inside your pork loin roast.

Apple Stuffing Recipe

To start with you will want to peel and core six large Granny Smith Apples and then puree the apples in a food processor or blender. Add the pureed apples into a large bowl and to that bowl you will want to add the below.

1. One Box Regular Stove Stop Stuffing.

2. One Fourth Cup Of Finely Minced Sweet Onion.

3. One Fourth Cup Of Finely Minced Celery.

4. One Half Cup Of Sour Creme.

5. One Half Cup Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce.

Mix everything up together well. Now you want to take a large thin knife and create a tunnel all the way through the center of your pork loin roast. Make the tunnel large enough so that you can stuff all the stuffing into the tunnel through the pork loin roast. Pack as much of your stuffing as possible into the tunnel through the center of your pork loin roast.

Now you want to take your dry seasonings you prepared above and rub and pat them onto your stuffed pork loin roast. Pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees and while your waiting wrap the stuffed pork loin roast up tightly with aluminum foil and place it on a large pan in the center of the oven.

Cook your roast at 450 degrees for 20 minutes and then reduce the heat to 350 degrees for about one more hour and then check it with a meat thermometer to see if the inside temperature of your pork loin roast is at 165 degrees. Again be sure not to over cook your pork loin roast as it will ruin your roast and it will be tough. Let the roast rest for 20 minutes before you slice it in thick slices and serve it. These are great easy recipes and they produce pork loin packed with flavor. Just be sure not to over cook.
