Southwest Stew Recipe
Here is a recipe for a delightful Southwest Stew that will have you, your family, and friends wanting more. My family loves it garnished with the shredded Mexican cheese but you can do it with or with out the cheese and still have a delicious southwest stew that your family, friends and guests are sure to love.
You will need for your Southwest Stew Recipe.
1. 2 Pounds Of Ground Beef
2. 1 Cup Sweet Purple Onion Diced Very Fine
3. 1 28 OZ. Can of Diced Tomatoes
4. 1 15 Oz. Can Pintos that you rinse well in colander.
5. 1 15 OZ Can Whole Kernel Corn.
6. 1 Cup Of Hot Picante Sauce Blended Very Well In Your Blender
7. 1 Can of Full Flavor Chicken Broth.
8. 1 Teaspoon Fine Ground Cumin.
9. 1 Tablespoon Fresh Ground Garlic
10. 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper.
11. 1 Teaspoon Salt.
12. Shredded Mexican Cheese To Garnish Tops Of Bowls.
Start off by frying your hamburger, onion and fresh garlic in a large skillet until done and then drain away the grease. Add your meat to a crockpot and then add all your other ingredients to the crock pot. Cook on low for 6 hours and then serve in bowls. You can make your southwest stew much more festive by adding a bowl of mexican cheese to the table so who ever wants it can add it to their southwest stew. You can of you wish also serve mexican cornbread which goes along very well with this recipe for southwest stew.
