Who Is Robert Pickton
Robert Pickton is a Canadian Serial Killer who before he was captured for his crimes a Pig Farmer who lived at Port Coquitlam British Colombia. He was born October 24th 1949. He was convicted of killing six women and is charged in the deaths of twenty more women. And is suspected of killing many many more. Many of his victims were prostitutes and drug users from Vancouver's east side. He preyed on women that he thought no one would ever miss.
In December of 2007 he was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility for parole for 25 years. Which is the longest sentence that can be given for murder in the country of Canada. The Canadian authorities say that he confessed to 49 murders to a undercover police officer posing as his cell mate. He further told the undercover officer that he wanted to kill another woman and make it a even 50. He said that he was caught because he became sloppy.
Excavations at the Pig Farm continued through November 2003 and all of the buildings that were on the property have been demolished in the search of the Pig Farm for human remains and other evidence. It was on March 10th 2004 that it was revealed that flesh from the human victims may have been ground up with pork and passed out for free to friends of Robert Pickton and his brothers. It has also been claimed that he fed some of his victims to the pigs on his pig farm.
It was only after Pickton was arrested that people started coming forward about things they had seen on the pig farm. One of the people who came forward was Lynn Ellingsen and she made the astounding claim that she once saw Pickton skinning a dead woman hanging up in a tree in the barn yard. She said she had said nothing to anyone about the incident out of fear for her own life.
Some Canadian authorities have recently made the claim that though they could never prove it they believe Robert Pickton may have had help from his brothers and quite possibly other people. And he may have even had help from some of his future victims in killing other victims.
One FBI profiler accidentally leaked the information that some members of the FBI and the RCMP believe that Robert Pickton may have killed hundreds of women maybe even some of the victims credited to the Green River Killer. And if he did kill this many women he had to have had help.
In May of 2006 it leaked out from the Canadian prison where Pickton is being held that he did indeed process some of his victims into pork sausage and gave it away to people in the area of the Pig Farm and quite possibly he even took some of it into Vancouver and gave it away because he thought it was funny to do so.
Robert Pickton was a monster and it may never be fully revealed what he did. It is unlikely that we will ever know if he had help when committing his murders. Because Pickton is currently refusing to talk to authorities about his crimes. He says that he was framed by authorities and that he is innocent.

Its shocking and more could have been done about the bastard. My heart goes out to the many families of all the victims, they can rest in peace Stories like this one makes my blood boil.
Strikes fear into my heart. I normally would not even read about this person had I known he was still alive when I started reading your article, because I fear him that much. If he had been executed I would read about him. However, since he still serves a life sentence and could escape it is just too creepy to think about....

Yeah it was pretty crazy when it happened. I lived in poco at the time, and everyone knew who he was. He always had big parties at his house. But everyone always though that him and his brother were pretty off.
I cant believe it happened so close to where I lived. I remember he gave away some of his property and they buld homes and an elementary school too.
Even if it was an eye for an eye, I don't think he would care,he's mad, I really don't think he would care if we fed him to sharks, cause he's absoloutley insane. period. and an eye for an eye makes the world blind. I hope i do not encounter a person like Rober pickton in my life

He is a true serial killer.. But face it. killing prstitues is going to keep happenin everyday. I think the girls bring it on themselves to have that done to them... He was a very intelligent man who believed in what he had believed in..Some serial killers are born that way.. others that turn out to be serial killers have had something done to them to turn them out that way..live with no fear...once a person gets hurt so much thay intend to have no heart..
I think he needs some serious counseling, it's sad that this misunderstood, victim of a man will spend his life in prison. I hope he gets the help he needs. Thank goodness there's no death penalty, like in U.S. or we might never get a chance to rehabilitate this testosterone abundant, product of our evil western society... I pray for him. Shalom.

First off I feel for the victims and their families. The other victim in this tragedy is Mr. Robert Pickton. He (Robert) is in need of some serious counseling and rehabilitative services. I glad he is locked up, keeping us all safer for it. Now he's in custody and hopefully with plenty of medical attention and mental health attention he will be able to live a healthy productive life. There have been enough victims. So sad.
clearly people empathizing with the murderer need some counselling too. He chose to end his life as soon as he became a monster. The Victims were not given that choice.
.. He`s in Maple Ridge.. which is about an hour away from here depending on traffic ( im in delta ) ..I used to be best friends with Marnie Frey`s daughter Brittney, but we hate each other. Anyways, I wan`t to write Robert Picton.. I would love to get inside of his brain a bit and just get a couple of my questions answered but I don`t,know if he will reply.. hmmm
