Double Delight Peanut Butter Cookies

The first time I tasted these cookies I thought that just maybe I had found the best peanut butter cookies I ever tasted. By 4 A.M. when I ate the last cookie off the plate I had decided that yes I had found the best peanut butter cookie I had ever tasted.

And if your a big peanut butter fan like me I think you will decide soon after tasting these double delight peanut butter cookies that you have just found the best peanut butter cookie that you have ever tasted.

Again here let me caution you on some things about cookies. You want to take cookies out of the oven when they start to brown around the edges. And you want to make double sure that your oven is truly at the temperature the dial says it is. I will tell you right up front that most peoples ovens are off by 20 to 40 degrees so be sure you equip your oven with a heavy duty oven thermometer

If your going to be doing a lot of baking purchase yourself a nice set of cookie sheets. And always buy Pam vegetable cooking spray to use when you are baking cookies or other baked goods. Always buy the best ingredients when you are buying ingredients to go in your cookies. If it calls for real butter use real butter. If it calls for vanilla extract use real vanilla extract not the imitation stuff. I know the best ingredients cost more but you will be amazed at how much difference it can make in the flavor. I never use anything but Jiff Peanut Butter when I make peanut butter cookies.

I really do have a thing for peanuts , peanut butter , and peanut butter cookies. And these double delight peanut butter cookies really are some of the best peanut butter cookies I have ever tasted.

For Your Double Delight Peanut Butter Cookies You Will Need.

1. 1/4 Cup Roasted Peanuts crushed up very fine.

2. 1/4 Cup White Granulated Sugar.

3. 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon.

4. 1/2 Cup Jiff Creamy Peanut Butter.

5. 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar.

6. 1 Roll Refrigerated Peanut Butter Cookies.

You now will want to preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

In a small bowl mix mix the granulated sugar , the cinnamon , and the peanuts.

In another small bowl mix the peanut butter and the powdered sugar until very well mixed.

Cut your roll of cookie dough cross wise into 12 pieces and then cut each piece of cookie dough in half to make 24 pieces. Flatten each piece of dough out.

Put a small peanut butter ball at the center of each of the 24 pieces of cookie dough and form the dough around the peanut butter ball to enclose it inside the peanut butter cookie dough.

Roll each cookie ball in the peanuts mixture and then place the cookie balls two inches apart on the cookie sheets. Be sure you spray your cookie sheets with Pam Vegetable Cooking Spray before you place your cookie balls onto the cookie sheets.

Take a spoon and flatten each cookie ball slightly. Bake for 7 to 12 minutes until your cookies are brown around the edges. Remove from the oven and allow to cool at least 5 minutes before you move the cookies to plates or racks to cool.

And you have just made some of the most delicious double delight peanut butter cookies that you will ever taste and enjoy.
