Here we have some of the most delicious fried chicken that you'll ever taste in your life. I've been making this chicken all my life and people love it.

World's Best Fried Chicken Recipe

My Grandmother Hattie Propst taught me how to make the best fried chicken in the world many many years ago and I've been making it ever since. It does take a bit of effort but its well worth the effort. I've changed very little from the original recipe except for using a blender. My Grandmother didn't have a blender. But most people today do.

Start by washing your pieces of chicken and trim away any excess fat. With this recipe I leave the skin on. This recipe makes a delicious chicken skin that is so tasty and wonderful.

Be sure that you wash your hands to the elbow before you work with raw chicken and after. Also be sure to wash any and all surfaces that touched raw chicken with a strong bleach solution and warm soap and water. This will insure that bacteria doesn't get a start and will prevent any that's present from growing.

How To Make The World's Best Fried Chicken

After you have washed your chicken under cold running water put it in the sink to drain well in a colander.

In a blender mix 2 cups of whole milk and 4 large eggs and blend on high in a blender until the milk and egg mixture is smooth.

In a large bowl mix the below ingredients together very well.

1. Two Cups Self Rising Flour.

2. One Teaspoon Ground Sea Salt.

3. One Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper.

4. One Teaspoon Poultry Seasoning.

5. One Half Teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper.

Mix your dry ingredients together very well and your now ready to bread your chicken.

Your chicken pieces should first go into the milk and egg mixture that you've poured out into a large bowl or pan and then it goes into the breading mixture. Now here is where the secret comes in. Now put it back carefully into the milk and egg mixture and then back into the flour mixture again.

I lay my double breaded chicken pieces on parchment paper on a large ray and then I wrap the tray with plastic wrap. Then when I have the chicken all wrapped up I put it in the refrigerator for two hours before I fry it.

I use my home deep fryer that has a pull down lid on it for frying my chicken. I cook the white meat pieces for 15-18 minutes and until an instant read thermometer reaches 165 degrees in the thickest pieces of chicken. I fry the dark meat for 16 - 18 minutes until the instant read thermometer reads 165 degrees in the thickest pieces of chicken.

I drain the fried chicken in a large baking pan that I have lined with a thick layer of paper towels. At this point you can make your fried chicken into wonderful barbecue chicken if you want to. Just put the pieces of chicken into a large bowl and pour your favorite barbecue sauce over the chicken. Me and my Grandmother both made delicious barbecue chicken like this and I still do. If you need a really great recipe for barbecue sauce for chicken CLICK HERE.

But you don't have to add barbecue sauce if you don't want barbecue chicken because at this point you have the best fried chicken in the world.

I think the chicken made by this recipe is much better than even KFC. I know I've made it for probably a million or more people and they all think its the best fried chicken they have ever had in their life. If you make the recipe please post a comment below and let us all know how the fried or barbecue chicken turned out for you.

Is Chicken On The Menu?

Have you ever used skinned de-boned chicken thighs. If not you should give them a try. You can buy chicken thighs for a fourth the cost of chicken breast and the flavor is almost the same especially if your grilling or using marinades.

One way I just love chicken thighs is to remove the skin and the bone and then use a meat hammer to flatten your chicken thigh. Cover your chicken thighs with plastic wrap to cut down on the mess while you beat them flat with your meat hammer. Chicken thighs processed this way can be used in many different recipes.

Another really great thing about chicken thighs is they are about one third the cost of chicken breast and chicken thighs have the most flavor. Try them in your favorite recipe where you've used chicken breasts in the past and see what you think.

Once you have them beat flat place them in a plastic container with a lid and just cover your chicken thighs with Italian Dressing. Let your chicken thighs marinade in the refrigerator for at least four hours before you rinse them off with cold running water and then grill them on a pre-heated charcoal grill.

Now you want to grill your chicken thighs until done and then you want to make the below chicken sandwich which I guarantee you will be one of the best chicken sandwiches you will ever eat.

Worlds Best Chicken Sandwich

1. Grilled Chicken Thighs from above.

2. Slices of Bacon cooked crisp.

3. Munster Cheese Slices.

4. Lettuce Leafs.

5. Sliced Tomatoes.

6. Honey Mustard.

7. Salt and Pepper to taste.

You will want to melt a slice of Munster Cheese on top of each grilled chicken thigh. Toast a buttered hamburger bun for each chicken sandwich you will need. Now place a chicken thigh with melted Munster Cheese on the bottom half of each hamburger bun.

Now place three slices of crisp cooked bacon on the top of the cheese on top of each piece of chicken. Now place a lettuce leaf and slice of tomato on top of the bacon on each sandwich. And now put the top bun on each sandwich and serve a small 1 ounce cup of honey mustard with each chicken sandwich.

And you just created the Worlds Best Chicken Sandwich. If you make this chicken sandwich please post a comment down below.

You can save even more if you'll watch for chicken thighs on sale in big family packs.

Here if your using chicken thighs you'll want to remove the skin and the small bone from each chicken thigh. Cut each chicken thigh into finger size portions. Now you'll want to mix four cups of whole milk and four large eggs in a bowl and mix together very well. And now you will want to mix the below ingredients together to bread your homemade chicken tenders in.

1. 4 Cups Flour.

2. 1 Teaspoon Sage.

3. 1 Teaspoon Poultry Seasoning.

4. 1 Teaspoon Ground Sea Salt.

Mix the above ingredients together in a large bowl being sure that all your ingredients are well mixed. This breading can be used on any type of chicken and it is oh so delicious.

Now you'll want to dip your homemade chicken tenders into the milk and egg mixture and then in the dry mixture. And now they go back into the milk and egg mixture and back into the dry mixture again. You want each homemade chicken tender to be double breaded.

You can serve your homemade chicken tenders with honey mustard or Barbecue Sauce on the side and I think you'll find that everyone will love your homemade chicken tenders. I like to put the chicken thighs after they are cooked into a bowl and pour barbecue sauce over them.
