Delicious Caesar Salad And Chicken Salad Recipe
Here's a delightful recipe for Caesar Salad and Grilled Chicken Salad.
For your Caesar Salad your going to need.
1. 1 Bag Of Mixed Salad Greens.
2. 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
3. 2 Ounces Anchovy Fillets.
4. 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice.
5. 1/4 Cup Olive Oil.
6. 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese.
7. 1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes.
Mix all your ingredients together well and when ready to serve serve your Caesar salad on chilled plates.
Prepare your skinless boneless chicken breast by soaking in the refrigerator in Italian Dressing for at least four hours. Grill your chicken breast on the grill and as you cook them sprinkle with salt and pepper. When your sure they are done remove from the grill and slice each chicken breast into thin slices. Arrange a sliced chicken breast on top of each Caesar salad.
I like to make this salad with grilled chicken thighs that I have removed the skin and bones from. And in case you don't know chicken thighs have a lot more flavor than chicken breasts and they are about a third the cost of chicken breasts. You can usually buy them in the large family packs and get a real deal on them.
I go ahead once I get them home and remove the skin and the bone from the chicken thighs. I then put them in a plastic freezer carton with a lid and I put layers of parchment paper between the layers of chicken thighs so I can easily take out the number of chicken thighs that I want to use for my recipe.
When I'm ready to cook my chicken thighs I marinade the skinned and boneless chicken thighs in Italian Dressing for an hour or so in the refrigerator before I grill them until done on my grill. I spray my grill with vegetable coating spray before I add the chicken thighs and I always make sure it is hot before I put the chicken thighs on the grill to cook. I turn my chicken as little as possible while its cooking.
If you turn your chicken too often it will be tuff and lose a lot of its juices. Never press on your chicken or pierce it with a fork while its cooking.
Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal.
