I keep getting asked for bread pudding recipes and so here is another very delicious bread pudding recipe for Apples and Nuts Bread Pudding. This recipe is quick and easy to make and its one of my favorite bread puddings.

1. One Pound Loaf French Bread cut into small 1"X1" cubes painted with real butter and toasted in the oven on a cookie sheet. You will need to stir them as you toast them to a golden brown.

2. 2 Cups Granulated Sugar.

3. 4 Large Eggs.

4. 3 Cups Whole Milk.

5. 2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon.

6. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract.

7. 1 21 Ounce Can Apple Pie Filling.

8. 1 Cup Fine Chopped Pecans.

9. 1 Cup Of Golden Raisins.

10. 4 Tablespoons Softened Real Butter.

In a very large bowl gently combine your toasted bread and sugar. In another large bowl with a hand electric mixer beat your eggs , milk , sugar and cinnamon until frothy and very well mixed.

Pour the beaten mixture in over the eggs and gently stir up well being sure to get all of your ingredients mixed well. Now cover and refrigerate for two hours.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and now add your apple pie filling , pecans , raisins and butter to your bread mixture and stir well. Pour into a greased 13" X 9" baking pan and pat down with a spoon. Sprinkle the top with a few fine crushed pecans.

Bake for 40 minutes or until firm. Do not overcook. Serve hot with vanilla ice creme or whip topping. As I said above this is one of my favorite bread pudding recipes and it really is very tasty and delicious.
