Recipe For Making Delicious Apple Rings

Ingredients You'll Need For Your Apple Rings

1. One Large Egg.

2. One Cup All Purpose Flour.

3. One Cup Buttermilk.

4. One Teaspoon Baking Powder.

5. One Teaspoon Salt.

6. Four Granny Smith Apples.

7. Vegetable Oil.

8. Course Ground Sea Salt.

Instructions For Making Your Apple Rings

Combine the flour, teaspoon of salt, and the baking powder in a bowl and set aside.

Whisk the one egg up and then whisk in the buttermilk. Pour into the flour mixture and mix together very well. A wire whisk will work great to whisk the flour mixture up very well together.

Slice the Granny Smith Apples up in thick slices ( about 1/4 inch thick ) and then use a biscuit cutter to cut the centers out and make apple rings.

Heat your oil to 375 degrees.

Dip the apple rings in the batter and shake off any excess batter.

Deep fry the apple rings in the hot oil until they are golden brown on both sides. Drain them well on a metal wire rack in a metal pan. Sprinkle with the course ground sea salt and enjoy.
